So I am a very sarcastic person, the reason is because when I tend to be sincere about something I go extremely blunt....

My girlfriend was listening to empire theme songs on her phone with earpiece on, and she was singing it so loud....... she doesn't have good voice so each time she looks at me I fake a smile to her which made her think she was killing the music with her nice voice,, she took the ear piece off and asked "how is my voice?" and I was like "good, good, very nice"...... she knew I wasn't saying the truth so she asked me to " for once in my life stop being sarcastic and be sincere" so I went completely blunt by telling her the truth "Bae you actually sound like a dying vulture" she grimaced with an obvious expression depicting something like "you are a disrespectful bastard" and stormed out.

I knew I messed up so I buried my ego and went to her place to beg, it took the intervention of her sister before she could forgive me, if not we might have broken up by now...

now am just thinking..... though I messed up, but then again I was only being sincere.

Even when you are trying to be truthful, you have to tread softly and gently because words hurt too especially if its to someone you really care abt

If you can say this to the person you claim you love I wonder what you'd say to those you hate in similar situation.

Not to be judgemental but if the girl does not know she's wasting her time with you now it's bound to dawn on her sooner or later.

That is not sarcasmor bluntness. Blunt is if you ask her to stop singing because she sounds terrible (only if you cannot endure it). You could have just told her that she isn't good.
