fem29,cococandy and armyofone its better jare. Life is already hectic as it is for someone to be inviting unnecessary drama ojare. Fem29 I also try to give the 'owambe types' a very wide berth. But you know what I have also seen ones that 'try' to come across as 'classy' 'refined' also wash themselves in public like this o. All in all, I think people just tag everyone BFF these days.I have friends who have been my friends for ages( since pry school) we don't see all the time sometimes even years but I know that even though we are not all up in each others business we care and look out for each other. See where they were sending' loving' almost romantic messages on Instagram and a few months down the line naa egg things The one I witnessed too was godmother to the other's child used to buy/wear the same clothes, were always in each others places and na swearing things after all that. Immigration and Met police almost got involved sef. It means all the 'closeness' and 'love' was fake/showboating and they never really liked each other as all the things and asiri( secrets) they shared in that 'close' period was ammo after they fell out. It really puzzles me when someone is 'close friends or BFF' to someone they don't like Oh well the complexity of the human mind. |

I did not know people in the uk engaged in such fetish egg things. I have not personally seen or heard it. For the BFF and insult thing, it's common here with people falling out. It's always a shameful act to witness it with people threatening to report and deport the other person. I think it's worse in cities like London, Manchester and Bermingham with large Nigerian communities. I stay in a part of Uk with a native population and not many blacks let alone Nigerians. The Nigerian here have less time for such things. We are always pleased to come across our kind. Fem29, I thought you were planing to go Geordie town? How are our beautiful girls doing. |

cococandy: Lol. Trust me I like to read the stories but I really hate witnessing one. The last one I witnessed when I visited London the last time at Dalston market was just awful. |

cococandy: I think the ones in the U.S. behave themselves a bit more (fear of U.S. Customs and Migration). But I'm sure there must be broken bottles flying around Maryland, Atlanta and Houston. |

Onegai:probably right. sometimes I joke with with my childhood friend who lives in Houston that I'd like to move to there so I can have more Nigerians (her especially) around me and feel more at home. But she keeps telling me to remain where I am. Because according to her Houston is the jungle-ish. Like when the drama starts it's usually on another level. Who slept with who's wife/husband and whose asooke+jewelry cost more at the last party. Why are we like this? |
Re: Nigerian Lady Living In UK Exposes Girlfriends Allegedly Planning To Kill Her by Onegai(f): 8:36am On Jan 12, 2016 |
cococandy: It's Naija mentality. Carry them to Alaska as a community and they will still be beefing each other over asoebi, gold jewelry and husband-snatching. |

Onegai: Its the naija illiterate mentality and when I mean illiterates I mean the ones that went through school but the school did pass through them. They are the uncouth, loud ones with no social skills. No elegance and no finesse. |

Always Nigerians living in England..I think London area popular for this sort of dirt slinging. I'm sure if you check d background before coming to the UK,same ol gutter behaviour from Naija and no wanting to improve. Avoid at all costs..don't mix with such people cos they'll drag you down to the same level. Tueh. |
