You will wonder why some people are cursed. Speaking against a Man of God is damning. One ought to be careful what he/she says about these Pastors - whether they are called by God or not, it's none of your business to judge them; it's God's.

Now, for those who lie in the name of God, there is also judgement hanging on their neck. I will only continue to say, like the Berea Christians mentioned in the bible, Christians should prove every word that comes from them whether it be true or not.

The Bible and the Holy Spirit are there to guide us into all truth. Pray and God will reveal his true mind to you. Of course, God don't relate or answer prayers of sinners except that of repentance.

Cheers.

GOD will not allow you guys witness the Supernatural physically that's when you will understand that there's a DEVIL and there is a GOD. Is like you have not witnessed somebody being commanded to run mad or a rings 'oruka' being used before. You seem not to understand that those men of GOD are in constant battle for their lives. None of you have obviously not woken up with Lacerations on your skins before after being flogged black and blue in the dream.

Do you know KINGDOM OF GOD HAS COME!!!
If you know read the following carefully and know if your knowledge is same as we are speaking.
Don’t argue, it is not like other prayers. We know you have tested many prayers but this is olden day’s church that was taken away from people of God. Just come first,if it is not true tell others.CHRIST HAS COME to swallow your curses. KINGDOM OF GOD HAS COME UPON THE EARTH. DO NOT SAY. YOU ARE NOT TOLD.

GUARANTEED LIBERATION

Our lord Jesus Christ personally extends this invitation in Matthew 11:28: “Come to me all of you who are tired from carrying heavy loads and I will give you REST” And in John 16: 33, He says, “ I have told you this so  that you will have PEACE by being united to me” Despite these and several other passages in the Bible, believers all over the world - In churches, families and individuals experience crises while professing Christ. Throughout Christendom, Peace is a scarce commodity – even among the so – called BORN AGAIN.
But today, God has once again remembered His people and has sent us a prophet who has His mandate. A man who sees in far away lands. A prophet who carries the MANTLE – The undiluted  power of God. He speaks the word with such power and authority that the powers
of darkness cannot resist. He imparts you with LIGHT which empowers you to see your enemies direct in the spirit ream where the battle of life are fought. According to Ephesians 5: 13, and 14, “when all things are brought out to the light, then their true nature is clearly revealed; for anything that is clearly revealed becomes LIGHT”.And naturally whatever is revealed by the light is conquered by the light. See John 1:5.
People are promised Salvation, Deliverance, Miracles, and instant prosperity. They engage in different form of fasting, sleepless nights at vigils and agonizing warfare prayer etc, yet they live in fear of witches / wizards, evil, marine attacks and dreadful dreams and family wickedness. The truth is that you must first of all be free or liberated from these problems before you can experience peace of mind, which must also be achieved before material prosperity. Jesus’ parable of the rich Fool makes it clear that rest (LIBERATION) comes ahead of material wealth (LK.12:16-23).
For the Ritualist who have been given some objects to swallow for wealth, the young professionals who ignorantly joined fraternities for protection, the youth in secret cults, the stagnating believer, the oppressed single ladies who have lost hope of marriage, the barren, those whose stars have been tampered with by their former masters, and others with different types of spiritual problems – come for an encounter with THE TRUE VINE (John 15: 1-4) and your LIBERATION  is GUARANTEED.

 JESUS CHRIST IS LORD  !!!!!!!
The Prophet’s ASSURANCE:Come, If you get anything less than promised, you are free to spread the news.

·         YOUR CURSES WILL BE SWALLOWED

·         Difficult generational problems     will be destroyed

·         Ancestral yokes will be broken

·         Deliverance from spirit wife/husband (incubus and succubus) is guaranteed.

·         Total protection from witchcraft oppression and occult powers.

·         You’ll be rescued from evil marine and powers of darkness.
HERE YOUR COMPLETE LIBERATION IS GUARANTEED.

When you are liberated, you will have peace of mind and rest in CHRIST –Then prosperity follows. Above all, because the power is live and direct from HEAVEN, all these are delivered to you without any form of FASTING,RIGOROUS NIGHT VIGIL AND AGONIZING WARFARE PRAYERS.

BRETHREN,THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS ALREADY HERE. (Luke 17:20).

True Christians know that heaven is a personal race, and that though we listen to these preachers, we have the HOLY SPIRIT to guide us through the BIBLE. You can't rope Adeboye in and use him as a camouflage to insult Christianity and God. You are an Atheist. What an interesting read until OP ruined it with the debate on the existence of God.

SMFH, few medical and philosophical journals that never prove their worth for a generation before being dispelled by other unfinished logical reports have turn some earthlings into thinking they are god unto themselves.

That, of course, is based on the assumption that God exists and that He speaks to the pastor. I could never understand how someone can know the mind of an entity they cannot even prove exists.
This is the only place you shot yourself in the foot. How did you came into existence? I don't care what science told you and make you to believe that GOD does not exist, but be informed that GOD does not only exist, He created you and you will account to Him at the end your life here on earth whether you believed His existence or not. Take care.

Obviously, this writer lost the plot with this is meaningless missive when he tries to con his readers by appealing to sentiments.

He said Adeboye prophesied that Boko Haram and ISIS will be considerably weakened, this can be verified easily by studying the modu operandi of these guys, which an independent verifier will agree. Does Boko Haram and ISIS still hold as much territories like before?. No.

He ranted about Adeboye's fuel less driving, this shouldn't elicit any controversy because all through history, God has shown Himself in diverse ways and means by doing anything at anytime for whosoever He wished.

I guess he should be asking Adeboye how a boy from the backwaters of Ifewara could become one of the most influential persons in the Universe

On the fund raising debacle, I still wonder, how he had expected Adeboye to have raised the funds, when he gave opportunity to everyone to come in at his or her level. Adeboye called from 1 billion to 100 Naira but because this fellow cocooned in his 2 by 2 studio flat in middle of a nowhere borough in the UK could not imagine that there are people in Nigeria that can give millions of Naira to God's work without battling an eyelid

I am happy to inform these our perennial naysayers that the Project has been built and dedicated to the Glory of God

thanks for silencing him. The op is surely living a dictated life in london thinking he has a life? God used the same adeboye to bless his members who pay in millions & billions for any project. Nigerians have the money to spend for a God they believe in which blesses them the more. Unlike uk where they force middle class earners like you to be poor & make u believe that hardwork is the only means of success which makes you discard your God. You're tied down with the 'hardwork' there that's why you can't come back & invest in your country.

Sometimes I just get confused about these men of God, yet can't speak cos they're "God's anointed".
Only last Sunday in the RCCG parish I worship, it was announced that folks interested in having a dinner with the "Daddy G.O" as he's normally called should pay an Access fee of N20k. Was left confused about the whole thing though as to why the "N20k Access fee"? Why must every thing be about money? Just wondering though
20k access fee just to have a dinner with G.o? That is fraud. And some people will fall prey to that. It is unfortunate that we don't understand who God is. We now idolise our so called men of God. May God help us to be spiritual more than religious.

I honestly can relate with the OP. Just last week, i was at one program where the pastor preached, many of the testimonies in his sermon in my opinion were highly questionable & this program was held in a reputable citadel of learning with Professors & Intellectuals present.

This whole religion thing, may God help us.

Disclaimer: This post might be modified without notice.

This is exactly why I don't like listening to him . His so-called sermons are full of testimonies. There's usually a dearth of rhema in his sermons, and when I don't discover such in any preacher I switch over. Personally, I'd rather watch a boring nollywood movie than listen to him. Men of God of his stature should be full of rhema in their sermons and not questionable testimonies. My likes among Nigerian men of God are Pastors Kumuyi, Oritsejafor, Oyedepo, Ashimolowo. I get the needed rhema anytime I listen to those.

you are indeed the son of perdition and it is obvious you do not know this God we are talking about. first of all, on the prophecy of 2015 you mentioned. yes! G.O mentioned that insurgencies will be considerably weakened and this has been fulfilled. you write like this because you are not in Nigeria now. Boko-Haram has been displaced by over 90%. let us look at the ineternational terrorism. Have you not seen the sudden interest of America and other developed countries against ISIS, are they still having a filled day like before? My brother, before you write anything especially about men of God be careful! if check closely, you will see that that insurgency has been considerably weakened.

Pastor Adeboye's prophecies for 2016 are no different from his previous ones - he has managed to keep everything fuzzed up and has avoided being specific so as not to incriminate himself in the future. However, there is one item on his list that requires scrutiny because I believe it shows Pastor Adeboye to be a manipulative person. I shall return to this in a moment.
Pastor Adeboye
First, let us build a quick picture of the man. Pastor Adeboye is probably the most influential pastor in Nigeria. His church has branches in almost 100 countries around the world, with an estimated 14,000 churches in Nigeria alone. The Redeemed Camp is responsible for perennial traffic congestion on the Lagos-Ibadan motorway because of where it is situated and the sheer size of the congregation that worships there. Whether the church has done enough to forestall this problem and alleviate the sufferings of road users is a subject for another day. Pastor Adeboye's fund raising methods are a cause for concern. He announced plans in 2013 to build a church auditorium of approximately 3km in length (http://dailypost.ng/2013/08/14/three-kilometer-auditorium-angry-nigerians-blast-adeboye-say-n1billion-per-person-donation-is-criminal/). To fund the project, he told his followers: "We need N1 billion from ten people . . . We also need N100 million from those who can afford it. Please see my secretary." How many hard-working people with unquestionable source of income would dole out money on a project like that which will not yield any returns for them? This behaviour encourages corruption - the thieves who steal our commonwealth will see this as an act of buying penance from God. Pastor Adeboye is importunate - he never tires of using mental gimmicks to persuade his members to give him money. Only last month, he was reported to have told them: "Let me tell you the truth, the only reason we still take offerings is to get you out of poverty. When you give offerings you’re sending money to heaven." A few years ago, he claimed that he drove his car without fuel from Ore to Lagos to a thunderous applause from his congregation. It beggars belief that anyone would believe this story. To complete the picture, take a look at his 2015 prophecies and decide for yourselves whether he made any ground-breaking predictions or if he just played safe by refusing to make specific statements. (https://secure.saharareporters.com/2015/01/02/end-year-prophecies-ijabla-raymond#.VKbHn0sJtN4.wordpress). Notice that he had prophesied: "Daddy (referring to God) says all over the world insurgencies will be considerately weakened." The terrorist activities of jihadi groups like ISIS, Boko Haram (BH) and al-Shabab in 2015 do not support this prediction. This observation alone completely invalidates his claim of speaking the mind of God.

Let's return to the 2016 prophecies which can be found on the church's website: http://rccg.org/prophesies-for-year-2016/. Pastor Adeboye prophesied that, "a new sexually transmitted disease will surface." But he does not disclose that he received this revelation from newspapers and medical journals. British researchers announced late last year the discovery of a "new" sexually transmitted disease (STD) called mycoplasma genitalium (http://www.nhs.uk/news/2015/11November/Pages/New-sexually-transmitted-infection-MG-may-be-widespread.aspx). It is worth noting that pastor Adeboye does not give the name of the new STD and its causative organism like researchers always do. Does God whom he claims to speak for not know this information? Why does he not specify where, how and when the disease will surface? How bizarre for an omni-benevolent God to announce the emergence of a new disease but not the cure? Curiously, God was also silent about BH and the abducted Chibok girls, the fall in the price of crude oil and its effect on our economy, the agitation for the state of Biafra, climate change, the conflict in Syria. Pastor Adeboye's prophecies portray God as someone who is always silent on the issues with real implications for our daily existence. That, of course, is based on the assumption that God exists and that He speaks to the pastor. I could never understand how someone can know the mind of an entity they cannot even prove exists. What is obvious is that pastor Adeboye, like the rest of his fellow prophets, relies on the BBC, CNN and other news media to formulate his prophecies.
The reason this situation bothers me is because literally tens of millions of Nigerians believe that God speaks through this man. Accordingly, the choices they make in life are guided by every word he speaks. Collectively, Adeboye and his fellow pastopreneurs have turned a generation of Nigerians into magical thinkers and have destroyed critical thinking. Even our universities and other centres of learning are not immune from their destructive influence - believe it or not there are professors who believe that prayers can make a car drive without fuel just as pastor Adeboye proposed; that diseases can be caused by evil spirits; that witches and wizards are responsible for infertility; and so on.

Thankfully, the days of lying to Nigerians are drawing to a close. Information is the greatest weapon against ignorance, fear, superstitions and exploitations. Nigerians now have access to the internet and can easily cross check facts. By this time next year, we would know if a new STD has been discovered and if indeed God speaks to pastor Adeboye.

If the members of the church are not complaining, I don't see what the problem is, there are fake and real prophets of God, it is for you to know yourself and if you don't know, you can't blame anybody. Nobody forces anyone to bring money out of his pocket, when a pastor demands for money and you don't give, nobody will arrest you, so what is the complain about?
