Dear All,

Good morning. I have been following this post since 2013, that was before I even got married. Just stumbled on it one day n got stuck since then. Though it appears a lot has changed with the doctors and commitment from patients

Anyway, based on all ive been reading I have decided to narrow my choices down to Texas and to this end I have contacted the following
1. Dr esparati
2. Dr Ezekiel
3. Dr Amaro
4. Dr Jeannie West Houston.

For Elpaso, their response is quite fast n i have been guided on what I need to do to get the appointment and doctors letter as proof to the embassy. However I'm a bit skeptical cos I read that people have issues with getting visas.. agency n stuff.. so I'm considering other choices. I also have To pay some commitment to get letters for visa application procedure

With Dr Ezekiel, I was sent a generic email with the costs n all but I've been asking them to send me a doctor's letter and appointment booking. They r not giving any feedback.... please can some on help me? Does Dr Ezekiel not give correspondence for embassy anymore?

With Dr Amaro... same fee back with details of doctor but they said i have to contact hospital separately and anaesthetic specialist sepArately as well and I have to pay at least 2000 dollars for me to get any letter n appointment confirmation for visa application... please is there any other doctor in Texas that can accept me n give me the letters u need without paying fees

In Dr Jeannies case.... they attached 2 documents containing their pricing. It has everything.. from doctor to hospital to pediatrics and n every billing you can think of... very detailed. However to get a n appointment. I need to submit my medical records n to get a letter Ihave to pay a small fee as commitment

My issue is getting medical report from my hospital will take a long time and I was looking at applying end of January cos I'm due first week in May. I don't have time again.. cos I'm yet to apply for visa. Preferably Texas or Maryland

Can someone please help me urgently

Is there a doctor n hospital that can provide me with appointment and doctors letter without having to pay a fee or present medical records forehand?

Also, please how do I go about getting Dr Ezekiel to give me the letters, if he does.

Please I've done due diligence. Always on this page but I have now gotten stuck.
Thanks and I apprecoate as you as you help a sister out .

Please house help as am really and seriously having a headache. I need to reapply for my visa as I was denied last week. Some of the advice I was given was to reapply with my hubby. Now hubby with not be able to apply with cause of time as his nature of job would not give him time till 3months.
The challenge is do I still reapply with my Lo as I can't leave him alone. Or apply alone and get the visa and then what happens to my son as I can't leave him alone as daddy would be very busy.

Hello dear, Dr E can give you a letter of acceptance but not apointment, they don't collect any fee before you get there. All you need do is to continue to call her office, relax and explain your situation and you will be guided.
I got same from them few weeks back.

Thank you so much for the response. I will do just that. Does the acceptance letter alone suffice? I just went through your previous posts and realised you are also due in May. Do you have accommodation arrangement yet? I'm following you now but don't know how to send pm.. it's not working. It will be good to talk further. Wouldn't want to clog this thread with personal messages on the trip. I'm also looking at travelling in April by Gods grace.

Maybe I saw u at the embassy that day coz I was also denied that same day. Reason was hometies as I wanted to travel with my kids and my hubby has a valid visa. I've booked another interview for next week and I'm applying alone this time.
I suggest u apply with your son and use your hubby as home ties.

You do the process allover again. Fill another ds160 form, edit ur profile and put the new number in the profile, pay again and pick a date.

U applied with only your daughter and was denied?

Unless you get better home-ties you will just be rejected again
The normal advice is to wait six months at least and work on your evidence that you will return home after your visit.
Apply too quickly and you look desperate to travel and get another red card!

Just seeing this. Sorry about your refusal. Maybe you should throw more light on the questions asked during the interview. That way we can advise properly.

@Worry359-Can you breakdown what you mean by "
Unless you get better home-ties you will just be rejected again" cos i'm lost.
if you went thru my interview script you would read where i said no other document was reviewed except for Dr's correspondence and budget sheet.
Purpose of applying is not vacation so 6 months is out of it.

For self processing naija visa, read up shelly23's posts. For agent processing, search for Tanko or eddy, their numbers are displayed all over.

Basically what you need are baby's passport, consent letter signed by both parents, passport photo, photocopy of parents passport data page and the cash with return envelope.

Thank you

What other home ties is stronger than my 2 kids, husband and landed properties?

Its not always compulsory for you to have an appointment with the doc for your visa interview (although its a plus). Evidence of your communication with the doc and hospital (email thread) as well as their billing documents/price list would do just well....

Happy New year my wonderful people. I have been a silent follower and all the information i got here helped me through my poe which was smooth at Washington airport. Actually staying here to deliver having considered overall expenses here and in Houston which I had planned to port to. Dr's fee here is reasonable $2050 including VD, all lab test n Routin OB care. Hospital estimate is about + or -$4k. (Praying all things work together for my good.)
Pls does anyone know if it's only embassy notary that is acceptable within maryland and DC or others too.
Also a contact of any notarian in Port Harcourt will help.

@babymandy Hope ure alright and prepping for delivery. Pls can u kindly inform on the name of hospital and dr. u are using. Thanks

Arrived JFK on Saturday morning...flew Air France. Wasn't asked for fit to fly. Flight was good esp d Paris - New York route. At JFK, airport was crowded, was fortunate to be called to the fast track cos of LO. CBP called us (my mum,my 16 month old daughter &i), was cheerful & playful.Just asked how long we were staying. Stamped my mum & i in for 6 months (tho my visa expires in 3weeks) and logged my LO in. Surprisingly didn't ask me for LO's receipts nor send us to secondary inspection to scrutinise if her medical bills were paid tho I had d receipts handy. We had a bag full of food stuffs(no thanks to my mum) but they were not seen nor seized. Was a good trip. Chillin in Delaware now, porting to Houston in 3 weeks. Still plan on using Dr E of Oakbend, yet to call her tho. I also plan on visiting the hospital before making a final decision. Second missionary journey looking blessed already.
