Ur best option as a jjc is to take a cab from the aiport to 34th street penn station but if u want to tour and likely get lost,u can take the air train out of the airport and link the A train to Howard beach -jfk then get to the other side of the train track and take another A train going to 34st penn station once u get to the penn station you will see signs which will direct you to where you can book tickets, the train ride will cost u $2.75 for a ride,the bus to Ohio will probably be btw 100-150 dollars cos it's is about 120$ in china town and the ride to Ohio is roughly about 9 hours depending on where exactly you are going there,except u ain't going for a road trip why not just book a connecting flight and save yourself this hassle

There is a train run by the airport that leaves into the city. Research the best option for you to get a greyhound station.
Tip for you: while changing money, ask for smaller bills for these your wakarings. Imagine pulling out a 100 to buy a 10 dollar ticket...

during my visa interview last I was asked were I was going to stay in the states and I said Dallas and I also said my reason for traveling which I was honest about "vacation and shop for my wedding " . So at my Poe in iah I was ask same question ,which I answered correctly. I only stayed in Dallas for 10days ,did my shopping and returned back to naija . Now my question . I wanna go on a vacation to newyork for 8days,at my Poe in JFK will I not be asked why I am not visiting dallas? Why I am not yet married? My finance lost his mum so we had to move the wedding till sept this year. Now my question ,will I not be asked why am not yet married since my last reason for been in the states was to shop for my wedding ? Will dey nor ask how come am flying to Nyc since I have relatives in Dallas ?

I intend to stay in a hotel for my vacation in nyc

me : I was not told (I wasn't sure of their actual date of births, so I decided to indicate no on the ds160 form ) so I explained to him about cultural stuffs..

me : told him
VO : what do you do in Germany?
me : Here for my master's degree
VO : you studied bla bla during your bachelor's?
me : yes... exactly
VO : what do you study at the moment?
me : responded

me : as student, we're limited to 450 euros per month, but because I work with.... I earn about 600 euros on average

I intend traveling to US by February on a business trip(yet to apply for a visa).
I run a commercial transport company with just 18 American buses - Chevrolet
Express and Ford E series. Some of these buses are becoming unfit for
passengers safety, so the need to travel to the US to buy and replace 6 among
them.
In 2008, I was issued 3 Shengen Visas and i used 2 to visit some shegen
countries.
*Please i want to know if the previous visas amounts to anything since there
were not issued within the last 5 years and are on a different passport.
*Will it make sense if I inform the vo that apart from running a transport
business that i am a Publisher of a monthly magazine, since my purpose of
traveling to US is to buy buses for my fleet?
Pls, I am married and we have a lovely daughter.

Its always better to lay all your cards on the table. U do not know the one that will impress the vo. If you are asked what you do for a living, u state it all. And indicate if its paid or for leisure.

Those are good Countries. During the interview, the question is usually'have u travelled before?' Not 'where have u gone to in the past 5 years?' So u have An opportunity to show you can be trusted with a visa.

However I have some reservations about going to buy cars. Read Part 1 of the thread. Use the search button. Somebody wanted to buy trucks and waas denied and there was this whole speculation about applying for visa to buy cars...

so many things wrong. you are a student, not married, u have another country residence permit and u want a visa from nigeria which make you not having tie in nigeria. u will get denied again
