Late last year I just decided I need to leave the place because I see no future there, I began to attend interview for other job, also told a family friend that is a politician that I need job. Last week Sunday the family friend called that she has secured employment for me with a state government in* (One of North central state)
Immediate I began to make enquiry about the salary, from my enquiry I was made to understand is around 34k when I am currently earning multiples of that. My parents are advising me to take up the offer and resigned in my place of work, please Nairalanda should I? I was called today to come and take appointment letter on Monday.

My brother the blue print is clearly stated, you cant compare the both option,stick to your private firm its far better than the low earning state job.At a time like this when the country is going thru recession,Even Federal govt salary earners are being owed,talkmore of state..You should be looking at developing yourself in terms of bizness if u hv a fat account..Invest into something maybe transport,service renderingor any gud venture that can fetch more box and serve as extra income,this will serve as a fall back for d rainy day.No one will work and die an emloyee.We all aspire to be employers someday...

Bros pls take the civil service job no matter the agency/parastatal,you can always find ur way around redeployment.work is not always abt salary even in shell,I'm not encouraging corruption tho.
