2015: Given my work schedule and responsibilities I was not able to travel to my hometown all year. As an individual who values the company of friends and family, I looked forward to spending the Christmas and New Year holidays in my hometown – with my parents, friends and siblings.

As the holidays approached, the unexpected happened; the organization I worked with came up with a policy that made traveling for the holidays inconvenient and impossible. I grudgingly shelved my traveling plans. The cancellation of my trip was no good news for my parents, siblings and friends who had looked forward to hosting me during the holidays.

Not minding the physical separation with my loved ones, I was determined to surprise them and make them happy on Christmas day. MusikGenie’s music sharing portal made this possible…
