Please ignore the talks here that marriage is not important in life cos those who say that find sex important with either male or female,they find procreation important and they would never want a bastard yet they say marriage is not important.

Just live your life decently,if possible don't open your legs to any guy if you have not done so and if you have,then its not too late to adjust.

This thread for example was borne out of a stereotype. How on earth would you say that a woman's beauty fades? I can't believe that some women actually fell for that. A woman is always beautiful, maybe the ones you know are the ones who lack confidence in themselves and their bodies (their personal loss). All around me, I see older women remarying, in fact a woman with four kids (all graduates) is about to marry for the third time this August. I understand what you were trying to say, you could have stated that men marry younger- easy peasy, but you had to reduce women to nothing to drive home your point. The whole world knows that men prefer to marry younger, that is where you could have explained to women why they should marry above their age group or during their 20s if they desire their age group.

With that approach you would have succeeded in balancing a gender-issue and passed your message without making women feel more inferior and confused. However that is not what you do. You come on Nairaland and tell us why we should feel more inferior because we are women

No, I didn't mean that. I meant all men(mankind) aren't equal. Giving people 'equal' opportunities doesn't necessarily make us all equal. We are human and have our different ideas on what equality is. Some of us naturally have an advantage over others in certain areas. Aren't we all unique?

Superiority, OTOH, has many forms especially in our modern world. And it isn't just limited to physical strength these days.

I think all men are born free and equal, human. Then, society determines our cages. It is up to us to define our persona or let the cages handle that.
