This is definitely not a mistake. You know a mistake when you see one. Wat a shame. First Class indeed!

At first I wanted to assume it was a typo, but after reading the entire piece, I must confess the writer doesn't have a good command of English

OP you just showed your ass.

Even as good as my English is, I also make spelling errors, especially when typing long text. Sometimes I'd come back a day or two after before I notice a typo or error in some of my NL posts.

Another aspect is this, many people are intelligent but have poor grammar, Give them MS word and any thesis would look like gold. Some individuals also suffer from dyslexia

Bribery can never get u first class or distinction.

This mistake could be a typo.
STORY!!! Maybe you don't live in Nigeria or you don't know how bad things have become and how the system works.

Dumb niggers will take out their frustration on him now. It isn't his fault your GPs aren't even enough to flash an MTN number. Some things aren't to be taken seriously.

Thread unnecessary.

A primary 2 pupil could have written that on his or her wall. We can't verify this claim.

These bandwagon criticism should stop please. Okay we want to cast aspersions on First class degree holder. Isn't it?

These things happen, especially if he is the kind of guy who loves calculation. I'm not exempting him from the blame but he shouldn't be murdered. I've seen cases like this.

So pathetic. The beauty of education isn't in bagging the certificate, but in having the blissful feeling that education made you a better person, than you once were. The Nigerian educational system is desperately in need of a total overhaul.enough of churning out quack illiterate graduates from universities who can compete with third graders from advanced countries.

I have a so-called first class graduate engineer colleague from OAU who begs me to solve his energy balance and design projects because he can't.
And these are basic problems any intelligent 300level chemical engineering student can solve.
The point i am trying to make is that there is nothing special about OAU, Unilag or UI. Graduates from there also flop like '' no man's business''.
