Can anybody not see whats wrong with this? The centralized mode of power distribution is outdated. It might have been necessary after independence but with the significant population growth over the past 5 decades, it should be obsolete. Each town or city should be able to provide electricity to its populace via partnerships with private utility companies. 1 Like |

koboko69:Selected states are enjoying not all. If you share the MW among the 36 states equally, you wouldn't be enjoying 16 to 18 hrs electricity because some states are being cheated |
Re: Nigeria Hits 5,000MW Power Generation Mark by Nobody: 3:23pm On Feb 05, 2016 |
DropShot:Are all Nigerians enjoying it? With 5,000MW would every state boast of 18hrs supply? To even have 18hrs supply, we need about 20,000 MW or more not to talk of mere 5,000MW some folks are celebrating. Infact the minister of power should be silence at times because on seeing this news, saboteurs would try tooth and nail to reduce it. This was what Barth Nnaji experienced |

asuustrike2009:You're not making sense. To get to where we need to be, we have to get somewhere first. During the regime of the Ineffectual Buffoon, it was less than 2k MW and people like you wanted us to continue with that mediocre called a president. And now that there is improvement, you don't want it announced just because it's mere 5kMW. Shior! |
Re: Nigeria Hits 5,000MW Power Generation Mark by Nobody: 4:18pm On Feb 05, 2016 |
DropShot:There is no improvement in the first place before and even in this administration. The so called ineffectual Buffoon you called generated 4000 plus MW but your bubu hasn't executed any since he came to power instead his party especially prof of lie is claiming body language. 1 Like |

Re: Nigeria Hits 5,000MW Power Generation Mark by Nobody: 4:32pm On Feb 05, 2016 |
Tequilah:Shey una say lite don improve? How states out the 36 states can boast of 18hrs electricity through their state? If we are to share the so called 5,000 MW among the 36 states, each state should get at least 138MW. But the reality on ground is that it is not so. The APC government keep on deceiving Nigerians on daily basis with lies upon lies, may God help Nigerians. |
Re: Nigeria Hits 5,000MW Power Generation Mark by Nobody: 4:42pm On Feb 05, 2016 |
DropShot:It is the truth. Travel around the 36 states or ask and get replies from them not all these grammar the minister is saying. I stand to be corrected let all the 36 states including towns and villages air their view about electricity and watch their reactions. It is uncalled for gullible Nigerians to be celebrating mere 5000MW that can't even go round the federation. Don't say this to the people of Uselu Benin city, effurun Warri,Agbor Delta just to mention a few . cos if dey hear u, dem go stone u 1 Like |
