Megawatt figures do not mean anything if the people dont feel the effect of improved power generation in their homes and businesses. So the real question is, are Nigerians enjoying the effects of this 5000mw? 8 Likes 1 Share |

DropShot: Please sir how much money did Buhari invest in the power sector so far? From which budget? From the EMPTY treasury that he met? If the answer is NOTHING as in ZERO, then to whom do we attribute the RUMOURED increase in power generation? I hope you can reason like someone who has his brain intact that it has not been swept out by the APCshit broom of witches, because it makes zombies of previously Nigerian humanoids. I hope. www.nairaland.com/attachments/2162677_img20150225204321edit_jpeg56bb1cb2db278f716bb3a9df7c4cd726 www.nairaland.com/attachments/2837478_apczombie_jpeg18e83b86a22c6378b2e3f37984ea3432 10 Likes 5 Shares |

hahn: Please where did you get 300 million from? I'm interested to know the source last time I checked the figure stood at less than 190 million add 10 million for unaccounted entities and we have about 200 million, oga u can lie o . Furthermore do you know how much electricity Brazil consumes compared to Nigeria? This is the true basis of comparison not power generation. 1 Like |

I don't know if I should believe this news. The power situation in my area has really deteriorated; from 3 hrs on, 3 hrs off to 1hr on, 5hrs off. My generator fuelling cost has gone up drastically. I now use 60ltrs every 5 days. I really hope that this news is true and that I will feel the positive effect too. Until then, I only observe. 2 Likes 1 Share |

But this doesn't translate to any meaningful thing. Here in the GRA in Akure, we had 4hrs of light in 48hrs. Am really getting pissed with this coy, they only give priority to offices that's all. To hell with 5000MW... |
