Annybens1993, you must be good-hearted. Your posts and comments speak volume! That's by the way.

Meanwhile those GNLD should change their recruitment strategy. I believe everything is marketable as long as one applies the right method.

I had a similar experience when I was serving here in Abuja too. Since then, i'm always careful in choosing which interview invitation i'll honor. A funny scenario during my own was one guy neatly dressed in a very expensive suit looking so serius. Men the guy was dumbfounded. I felt like slapping d lady lecturing us. When I lo at d lady on my own, I was sure I can conveniently pay her salary despite searching for job. Wetin eyes Don see for job hunting, m no go t am finish

Lol! I also had same experience while serving in zamfara, tho mine claimed they are fertilizer company.
Annybens1993:
I just thought I should share my experience with GNLD Marketers in Abuja.

I am a Corp member presently serving Affairs Commission Maitama in Abuja. When I printed out my posting letter, I felt bad because against my strong desire to serve in Lagos and doing all the necessary, I got posted to Abuja. The cost of living here isn't funny at all. I rented an apartment with my friend (a fellow Corp member) who graduated from the same school with me and it was quite easy because we spitted the payment.
We decided to go in search of weekend jobs in other to earn more money as NYSC is still owing us December and January allowance ... I found a fruit juice company online in need of weekend employees. I called the number I saw and a female picked the call. She introduced herself as Paula and told me they actually need weekend employees and she'll schedule an interview for my friend and I for Monday 1st February. I was so excited ehn.
I came across another job opening for ushers and called and this time a lady called Mariam picked. She told me they were into event management and needed the services of female ushers urgently. She told us to come on Wednesday 3rd February. Chai see luck.
On the 1st of February which is a Monday, My friend and I were suppose to go for my NYSC biometrics at Kubwa but decided to go for interview first since it is scheduled for 8am that morning.
I spent about 1k to get to the venue of the interview as I'm not conversant with the roads here in Abuja (I go to work with the staff bus). When we got there, I noticed the huge number of people who were there for the same interview we came for and then some group of persons were lecturing them in small units. I asked the lady if the job was really a weekend job as the whole scenario there depicted another thing. She replied almost immediately saying that we shouldn't worry as weekend jobs are available and the pay is huge. She then brought a guy to lecture us on what they term the 'Basics of Successful Business Men in the World'. The guy's dressing was really funny. His shoes, clothes.......hehehe... Everything was funny to me and he was just talking, saying things that are false and at some point I had to be correcting him sef.
The arrogant guy kept arguing with me and claiming he's a graduate who served in 2012 (I don't know how that is my business o.. Lol). We've spent almost 2 hours there and I was beginning to get uncomfortable so I asked the guy if there was any interview at all because I can't understand the link between all his stories and the vacancy I saw online. He told me to be a quiet and just listen. At this point I was determined to leave but as I was trying to go the naughty guy kept pulling me by the hand and forcing me to stay and listen.
My friend told me to be patient as it might be an endurance test to check how patient we are. So I told her to keep standing there.. As for me I'm heading for NYSC biometrics.
It was at that point that the Paula lady re-appeared from wherever she went to. She beckoned us to a hall and there she started talking about GNLD.
I was so upset and so I asked her why they had to lie to people online. Her reply was that she had the same experience when she first joined the team and today she is doing fine. I told her that wasn't enough justification to tell lies online. She tried to convince us to register with 15k and showed us one small bag black bag with some forms which would be given to us after the registration. At that point, I just stood up angrily and left.
On our way out, I tried the other number belonging to Mariam for the Ushering job to confirm our interview for Wednesday and to my amazement a lady in black suit standing close to the Paula lady picked. Obviously the Ushering opening online was also a scam of GNLD Marketers too.
My naughty friend kept lamenting about the transport fare she wasted till we got to Kubwa camp....... Ahahaha

NB: please ignore my long write up... I couldn't help it.

Exactly the same thing happen to me,I saw an online vacancy so I applied, went to the venue(in Lagos)if you see the way I suit up you'll have no choice than to give me the job...when I got there if you see the crowd I saw I almost became confuse cos I thought I came for an interview instead am in a crusade,so when we all are seated a guy came out to address us,not only that he looks so unkept cos as a multinational company it was expected for the staffs to look ok but what this guy worn was something else(I became suspicious)so he started addressing us on things I can't even comprehend about how you can use N50 to get N1000 then I knew something was wrong(GNLD) I became alert, restless & annoy thinking of how to leave the venue, when I stood up to leave the guy told me to sit down that we'll have to pay N15,000 for a form,I was like what is happening here(na me wey never eat well to cough out N15k for dis people for nothing if na Jazz it won't work)then some of the people started whispering about their dissatisfaction on what is happening like they were charmed not to do anything,so this guy order some people to go lock the gate that everybody will buy the form,if you don't have money with you then you will have to drop your phone, then come collect the phone when you have the money so I compose myself sat down thank God I have some Goons in that area(Onipanu)so I text one of my guy who told me that they are coming so I stood up walked to the gate & one of the guys instructed to lock the guy held me from passing, immediately I removed my tie,my glasses told him that all he's seeing are mere packaging that if I deal with him it will look like trailer that hit him so when they saw my guys coming they had to let me go,I don't know what happen to the rest inside..............................it was an Experience sha

That was how they wasted one hour of my life, trying to sweet-talk and brainwash me in Benin. I got up to leave and told the pretty girl whose number I called that I didn't have the cash to pay on the spot, that I wanted to use the nearby ATM. She opted to follow me there! See desperation! The shit is really spreading faster than cancer in Benin these days!

This is not a laughing matter, this people take advantage of the unemployment situation to scam job seekers. They are now well saturated in the country that u can fine them in almost al5 the states in the country defacing the public with their scam advert. It is high time this should be brought to the notice of the law enforement agencies because they no different from armed robbers and internet fraudsters.

If you have ever done any contribution system(popular known as Aajo) or envied it, MLM or affiliate is similar to that system. It is suppose to create families/relationships for the goal of improving the members life financially and career wise.

But in Nigeria, it is a get rich quick avenue that people have now devised all sort of means to lure people. That is the reason why it hasn't grown much here. When you see affiliate marketers somewhere else in the world, you will envy them.

I have a system that doesn't sell products, improves your knowledge for money, teaches you how to become a world class leader, doesn't charge you monthly or annual subscription costs and still guarantees you use N10,000 to get a minimum of N500,000 within 6months(if you are open minded and can make good use of the internet)

Do you know that the only system man has ever invented that is free of greed and that gives everyone the equal opportunity to be wealthy is MLM? - Robert Kiyosoki.

Go Check- Affiliate marketers makes the bulk of digital marketing and money spinning Internet gurus abroad.

That was what annoyed me,I can there out of my own voluntary will, not as if they re gonna pay me for all the time I wasted there,it almost resulted to a brawl not until they saw my friends & they came down...Again some pple can be so gullible I was expecting the other people or should I call them candidate to stand against them but they just sat down there like zombie maybe out of desperation to get a job,I also understand that most of the people there re the GNLD member maybe 40%,they use it to make others believe they are also for the interview
