Hello, pls I have a question/need confirmation.
1. My visa is in my maiden name and will expire in July while my EDD is June, pls will it affect the duration CBP will give me?
2. My passport that is in my maiden name expires this February and I want to renew it, renewing my passport in my married name, does it change my standing with the embassy for future visa applications? (I ask because I have always applied together with my family and we haven't been denied visa). Instead of drop box will I have to go for an interview? Pls anyone with experience on this should clarify me. Thanks in advance.

1.nothing concern maiden name and visa duration. My ppt is still in my maiden name.
2. Again no issue. I assume there are records of your marriage which though u wont submit at dropbox can be verified

If I understand your question correctly your visa expires in July but your present passport expires this month? You would like to change your passport name to your married name but that leaves your visa in your maiden name ba?

1) duration of stay is the prerogative of the CBP officer and has nothing to do with your name as stated by Lady Guinivere.

2) for my Dropbox renewal last month I changed my name to my married name (previous passport was in my maiden name. When you fill the visa application change your surname and put the old name as other names you've gone by or something like that, you'll see it on the application form.

If you would rather not renew the visa now, I think you can still change your name and go with your marriage certificate and affidavit of change of name or better yet notify the embassy of your change of name and passport. (I do not know this part for a fact but it should be fine if you had declared your marital status even in your previous application)

My dear people, my flight is this weekend. Im just thinking of cancelling my ticket since I'm unable to get PTA, I can't do black market with the little cash I have. I'm am afraid of being deported or getting stranded in the Us. Delta is charging 95k for change and penalty, what do you advise please?
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 3 by Adebuble(f): 7:06am On Feb 18, 2016
Hello house,

I know PayPal does not charge up to black market, one can use PayPal to buy stuffs on line provided there is a PayPal option, this is for shopping. For bills I know one can open two diff PayPal's with two diff ACCTS eg one Nigerian card the second american card, so funds can be transfered from one PayPal to the other, you can then transfer to your american card/bank on pay pal (pls not it takes 2-3biz days for it to show in ur american acct). This is another route for money exchange n usage.

Best of luck guys

I meant to say that my visa expires in July and my EDD is June. Will using that visa shorten the duration I will be given (like their normal 6 months) or should I apply for a new visa?

I think you have to contact the hospital directly and they will give you their account details for the form A thingy, some people have paid using form A if you read from like ten pages back you ought to see those people you can ask them better

Ignore the noise of the market about tribe and dressing,
manner of approach and speech is important thou, and don't take No for an answer.

Hello, please which hospital did u friend transfer to? I desperately need to find another hospital that accept transfers pls.

Thanks

On this PTA issue, I tire o o. Someone got $4,000 PTA @ 201 from Access bank yesterday although he had booked for over a week. I didn't ask his travel date as we deviated into other talks.

For those wanting quick response form A application, you can try skye bank. A friend got his funds transferred by them within 3 days.

You are right, but we've not gotten the exact hospitals from here, the one i know have condition that one needs to register in their hosp b4 they give bill which you would use to process the form A.

Babe you gotta read from page 1 of this thread(part 3),some ladies said they stayed at a hotel close to the airport that allows them to check in at night, then moved to the accommodation they booked initially the next day
2)I believe it's the embassy notarised one that's been used in Elpaso but kindly click on posts of mummies that used Elpaso to be sure.

I have an untold story about accommodation in Sugar land....my advice is dat NL mother's shd be careful abt option of accommodation.

I have finally read the story about what went on in SugarLand accommodation and my advice to any mother here accepting an offer of accommodation is to be careful and ask questions openly here before taking the offer.

I wouldn't go into details about the sad treatment received by those involved because I have only heard one side of the story.
