If you are Windows 7 or 8.1 and you don't want Microsoft secretly downloading it on your computer, learn how to block upgrade to windows 10 here |

Beejayw: I just upgraded to Windows 10 in december. My system doesn't seem to have the battery drain issue. Although I've updated twice since then. The last update was just yesterday. I don't know if that means the drain issue has been fixed. I don't have any issue at all with the o.s. For me, it's the bestest windows yet  . System is hp pavilion dm4. I get 5.5 hours typing time on windows 10. |

hello all, i downloaded windows 10 on my pc, installed it on monday, working fine so far. I copied the downloaded files to a flash drive so as to install it on my dads laptop. During installation, it kept asking me for product key[which it totally did not ask me for while installing on my own laptop], well, after several attempts, it finally accepted the 'skip product key input option' and it installed.. Now my problem is that: After the installation on my dads laptop[which i did on monday] i cannot see the "go back to windows 8" option at all but the "windows.old" folder is still found and accessible in the C: drive. But the option is available on my laptop. Also, the upgrade deleted all his installed apps and settings but did not do so to my system. P.S- We were both on windows 8 which came as default o.s. mine is hp, hs own is acer. Please help me out, especially the option of going back to windows 8. Thaanks guys!!! 1 Like 1 Share |

Good afternoon my brothers. Please I have some problems pertinent to windows10. Firstly, I upgraded my hp pavillion to Win10 and that worked without giving me a problem, although I initially experienced a poor graphics display(blurry and fuzzy display) which adjusted itself in few minutes. All I just did was to activate Windows10 which I did using KMS activator. I tried to upgrade on another HP630 computer, after upgrading, I had the same poor graphics display which persisted for days and wouldn't change until I do something. I thought my VGA has to re-installed, which I did, all to no avail, I eventually discovered that my most of my drivers were outdated. I used DRIVER BOOSTER to upgrade the drivers and after that, #boooom, the display went back to normal. . Now, I upgraded another system, have the same poor display issue, tried all my best, but didn't come back to normal. I suspected the outdated drivers(VGA) which I updated using driver booster and even at that, I still have the same problem. I have tried to install my basic display adapter from the device manager, it won't solve the problem. I have used the Intel Driver Update, but it was useless. Pleases, can someone help me out? |

Eclement: What brand is the last system? My suspicion is that it may not be supported for windows 10. Visit the manufacturer's website and see if you can get display driver for that particular device. |

Eclement:I suspect you have been installing an incompatible driver. I'd suggest you use "driverpack solution" if you have the data to download it else continue searching till you get the right one. PS: Anytime you update (or clean install) your windows, always know that the display driver will be replaced by Microsoft basic adapter and you'll need to update in order to get rid of the ugly screen or before you can use any graphics demanding app |

@computerboy Where can I get the windows 10 to download. 1. My PC's original specifications are Windows 7 ultimate, 4gig ram, over 400gig hard drive, Dell core i3, processor 2.3GHz. Won't this not be a bit backward for windows 10. I mean won't there be setbacks like drivers problem, FRAMEWORK.Net, DLL or graphic card issues |
