Religion is human's worst creation. It has caused so much pain, hate and death!

It was created as a tool to manipulate people. Most religious people, are religious because they were born in it, and had no choice. Kids are manuplated from birth and brain-washed with religion. Religion is all about CONTROL.

When i changed denomination sometime in 2010. My mum had tried to instigate my dad to abandon me and my education then.
In my final year in school, a guy in my lodge almost slapped me because i was doubting the existence of God. Should i continue recounting encounters with christian fanatics?

Yeah, he's right. Scroll up through the comments on here and see how some Christians already said their religion is superior to others. Even the OP's write up insinuates such. As a learned person, I expect you not to base your conclusion about a set of people who are more than a billion in population off of just one person's discussions with you. If you can't go pick up books by Christian historians on their views on Islam, go online, do some researches, or purchase an English Koran for your perusal.

As for Boko Haram, they did not target the Christians. Their ideology of "Education is sinful" is opposite of Islam's/Prophet's....Every terrorist group has been proved to have a political undertone.

As for the restricted section on Nairaland, what you can do is make a Christian version. If you can't, then that's it. They probably have it restricted to control ignorant comments like this your own....lol

There is this set of guys in my department, you will never see them interact with anyone apart from their 'fellow' Christian. They always keep to themselves whenever we have classes. On the third week of resumption, we met at the Campus Fellowship, and they were like;

"So you are Christian. We didn't know o".

I looked at them and just smiled. Their reason being that I was being friends with non-Christians in the department. Their myopic minds didn't allow them to see or notice that I interact with h everyone same way. For their mind now na Christianity them dey do so. I kept wondering if they really knew Jesus as much as they claim to.

How do you share your faith with others when you keep to yourself all the time? Was Jesus being friends with only the believers alone in His days?

Jesus was friends with all during his days. Apart from those who would frustrate his mission on earth.

You don't have too make unbelievers your best friends, but please, be friends with all, showing them the love that Christ freely gave. Have a wonderful Sunday.

I don't know of any other tribes but it is almost impossible for a Yoruba person not to have other faiths as close friends or relative.

You're very myopic... you need to meet a lot of people...

The basic thing is respect, I don't condemned any form of worship or believe and I see no one superior above the others, the earlier we respect the faith of others the better for us, as it goes a long in encouraging peaceful Co existence. God is one. I am Christian but I respect my Muslim friends, including the egbe, oro and sango worshippers, invite me to share in your feast I will come.

In an experiment, we dont study the whole population, we take a small sample from the population and examine it. Any result we get from that small sample can then be used to form a hypothesis for the entire population.

People say I don't look like a muslim and I don't look yoruba... my best friends are Christians, enkarca (not sure I got the spelling correct...) atheist and very few muslims... and I've made it of utmost importance not to talk about religion with friends...
