Please where in Delta state is the wedding? You can fly to warri but what of the distance by road from warri to the venue. One thing you should put into consideration is the bad roads which is not good for you. My advice for you is to stay put and carry your Lo. Your best friend will always understand and there are also my occasions you will attend . Like her dedication. This is my own view.

sorry am just reading this nw.av done cerclage couple of tyms.d oda tyms i was given drugs to numb d pain bt i still felt little pain.this tym around,i was knocked out completely.i just felt a bit sore n spotted mildly for 2days n didnt even need pad.if u r diagnosed with incompetent cervix den cerclage is very important.after d procedure u nid enuffffffffff rest pls.God will grant u strenhth.aaffliction will not rise again.

@BritneyStacy, my dr also noticed my swollen feet at the last anc and he recommended i reduce my salt intake. I'm actually a lover of salt. Even after serving my food, i still sprinkle salt on it. So i've stopped all that.
He also suggested i placed both legs on a pillow whenever i'm lying down and when sitting on a chair, i should stretch my leg out on top of a stool. So far, its been helping.
As for the heat, only God can rescue us. Even if you bathe a million times, the heat won't go away. And phcn is not helping matters.

@Iyabetajos, how body now? I haven't bought a single baby thing yet o, except a pack of mittens i bought last year from dealdey. I'm just chilling and praying for a miracle to happen to the dollar rate. If by April its still high, i'll have no choice but to shop like that. Na Naija made things win am, because i'll be killing myself if i want to buy online on foreign sites. Na real suffer we dey #teamjuly

uglyBetty1 I know someone that did cerlage and ended up with her baby. It's just like locking up the cervix so there won't be mc till edd. Even with the pain, you can still endure but if you're not cooperating, you'll be given sleeping injection till it's over so you won't feel any pain. Go for it, it's the best thing to do. Wish you healthy pregnancy with safe delivery.

mitchyy First attend the Antenatal and do necessary test prior Leaving. Except you don't have any complication regarding your health, the well being of your baby and provided there will be a comfortable means of transportation, then you can go. it's not as if you'll fall to labour, just don't stress yourself.

So sorry about your loss. But cerclage is normally done between 12 -14 weeks. Why wait for 16weeks. So sorry dear. The Good Lord shall give you double for your shame.

mine was terrible. Every week I had to buy new shoe of different styles til I figured it out n bought over size I didn't care biko. Painful feet n having it massaged firmly wasnt funny @all

My birth story.. Stay tuned cos its a long miraculous story

15th feb:
I woke up feeling tired after d hot night and got dressed for work. DH was skeptical my going to d office dat morning but I explained to him I needed to move around rather than sleeping and feeling lonely at home. My colleagues and patients were all laffing @ me dat I still haven't dropped, I just kept smiling n ignored their comments.
At abt 2pm, I left office. And stopped to pick some items at d market. All of a sudden I started feeling wet on my trouser.
fear catch me nor be lie( I tot something was wrong with bladder). FTM things. The elderly women selling for noticed because I wsnt responding to her again. I just told her I wasn't feeling ok so she quickly attended to me and advised me to go home.
I called my consultant immediately to inform him of my situation, then went home to freshen up, complete packing d remaining things in my bag and waited for DH to come. All these while I still did not feel contractions or pains. So I was just praying.
When DH came he insisted we go to d hospital immediately.
I was just smiling and laffing @ DH because u could see d panic over him as if he was d one in labor.
We arrived at d hosp at abt 4.30pm, went to labor ward, so my DH told them I was in labor. D doctor duty just looked at me and laff dat I wasn't in labor with d way I just sat down was calm. So I told him I wasn't in pains but I had broken my water. That was when he stood up immediately with d nurses to attend to me. Becos d doctors are on strike he had to call my consultant to confirm if he shuld attend to me.
I was examined, few minutes later my doctor came in and also crossed examined me after wch I was taken to d delivery room.
At abt 8pm d doctor on duty checked me again, at dis point still no sign of labour nor contractions. So we started gisting till almost mid night.
So I was given. Tab mistoprostol. Intravag. Yet no contraction. At abt 4am an oral dose was administered still not significant difference. So d doctor on duty had to call my doctor at abt 6am to update him.
While myself was fully awake and chatting with d nurses.
They were all asking if I wsnt feeling any contractions. I just told them to continue rubbing my stomach n write down wat ever they observe cos I dnt even know wat they were talking abt.
16th feb:
At 6.30, my doctor came and did VE, chai dat was dame painful. After d VE I ws told I ws barely 2cm. And d nurses told him contractions were 6 in 10min. So he had to set an infusion and said he ws going to start induction. To see if there ll b an improvement. Dat ws hw oxytocin was
Injected into d infusion, he started with high dose yet I was looking at them no pains. At abt 10am he came back, did another VE, still no improvement.
That was when he told me were going to d theatre dat since my water was broken there is no way he would take any risk cos of my baby.
I just prayed to God and told him let his will be done. I called DH to inform him, I accepted and encouraged me to be strong.
I was then prepared. And taken to theatre.
On the 16th Feb at 12:50pm my handsome ebony prince was delivered weighing 3.7kg.
My supposed EDD is 26th.
To God be the glory. Mother n LO in good health no complications.
Proudly team feb# supernatural delivery to all due mother. We shall all carry our LO in good health.

My opinion o!
- how are your stats? Bp, protein, sugar?
- how is the baby doing? Amniotic fluid volume, heart rate etc.
If normal, then you may want to wait till 40weeks is over. I guess you still have 2 weeks to come to conclusion.
So tell your Dr to wait till 40 weeks is over, if labour hasnt set in, then you may augment.
Also you can start your treks ( dont tire yourself out), kpekusing and pineapple since your cervix is ripe already.

If your stats are not normal. Or if scan Go with the induction. It is a gradual process. No be oxytocin dem go first pump u. They will first try to ripen the cervix so it can efface to like 2-4 cm.

It was God at work. It took us 4yrs to get d perfect result, we started frm count of 7ml with 30% normal morphology and 10% active motility and now it has increased to like 73ml with 60% normal morphology and motility increased greatly too, dat was when I took in for dis pregnancy. A friend introduced us to Fertilsan and it was within a month of using it dat we got d change.

We were not told to check protein and sugar sha.. my work involves lotof sitting ooo. N.a. to buy that flip flops ooo cos I don't have any. Was even worried my bp don high ...God dey. Thanks so much

I experience such hooks at times but my major problem now is my swollen legs. It's well, very soon we will testify.

ehe I also noticed that baby movement has reduced, it's not what it use to be.
