Just hatchery activities. Move them to concrete and earthen ponds post juvenile.

On a serious note, pls Robonski15 help do something quick about the Agege outlet because it will be easily accessible to many of us, I could av driven there under 20mins. Did I also tell you that I encountered illegal police check point on my way back and trust our men in black they'll not let you go free when you are carrying something in a sack and promise my self that I must collect back my money anytime I av d opportunity of meeting you because na u cos am. So pls let av the Agege outlet up and running soonest. More FISH OIL to your elbow

Robonski,would like to visit your farm,am about building a pond,started my layout today 18ft*9ft*4ft somewhere in Ivana ipaja. Am looking @ stocking 1500 fish for now. But ow do I prepare my concrete pond before stocking with fish.i like to reduce mortality to the barest minimum.

not a scam,though some might be scam,hence be vigilant,but through honest dealings,possible

To all d guruz in d house,plz am in a fixed situation rite nw.i jus discovered dat some fish in my pond r having white stuffs on their dorsal fins(probably fin rot)nd slight peels on their skin,wat steps shd I tak to eradicate dis ish frm futher epidemic.i use a concrete pond,flush nd wash my ponds wkly nd feed to satisfaction.

Robonski15 thanx for this thread I'm new in the catfish biz, i started in the first week of January but its as if they are not increasing in size and their mortality rate is on the high side. What i noticed recently is the colour of the water that is dark green and sometimes with bubbles, could that be responsible for the high mortality rate? Pls help

do dey gasp 4 breath?asin bring their heads to d surface of d water? If yea den dey r encountering oxygen depletion...so many factors cld lead 2 oxygen depletion such as:over feeding,over stocking nd water quality..wen pond water bcoms 2 greenish(excess algae)it bcoms detrimental to d fish hereby leading 2 competition btw d fish nd algae for oxygen,nt 4geting algaes r microscopic plant which requires oxygen also 4 their growth....in summary changing of water as at wen due,avoid ova stocking nd feeding to satisfaction is d key nd also left ova floating feeds cld b scooped out of d water if possible.

u are at fault, everytime u want to change water u must drain water to the level that u can see the fishes

Gud day, anybody in d thread who has used gelatin feed kindly testify to me what result from ur fishes n how do u prepare it 4 fishes

y nt wen flushing d water,u open d outlet nd inlet 2geda..so as water goes in it coms out 2 till d water bcoms clear(asin free of d greenish colour b4 u finally close d outlet/drainage pipe nd refil 2 desired level...nd as regards d feeding,i strongly blive after feeding d left overs r on d high side which ends up polluting ur water...

I have a farm around ogbomoso and yes, u can get acres of farmland around ogbo. Am sure of some areas like ajilete ends sha

Nice to see that we are talking about aquaponics.... I am currently working on a system... Growing lettuce for now with a few tomatoes. Gradually trying to expand it. The growth rate is very very impressive. Have same lettuce growing the field... The aquaponics one seems like it had some red Bull..... Lol

The idea is to deploy using available materials... Keep it cheap... . Though I'm working numbers to embark on a greenhouse for aquaponics.
