Our democracy took a black eye with this statement by Amnesty International. I hope and pray that our leaders will treat this issue with maturity and fairness. This is 2016 and not 1980's for crying out loud. 2 Likes |

Amnesty international should go and die.Nigeria has more important issues to address than this Ipob nonsense. When more than 50 Biafra Agitators bodies were recovered from Ezzu river in the east during the govt of GEJ,they(Igbo's) didn't make noise as they are currently doing. |

I support freedom of assembly and expression, as should any reasonable person. I do not support the hounding of Muslims, blocking of federal roads and intimidation of traders into closing shops to join protests they may not believe in. I do not suppose freedom of expression fully covers chanting war songs and carrying treasonous placards. More importantly, I have always condemned police and armed forced brutality, and this is no exception. Even if arrests may be justified in some situations, the use of deadly force on unarmed people is deplorable. 2 Likes |

If Buhari continues the wanton killing of unarmed protesters and the incessant violation of human rights of Nigerians, he would end up being taken to the ICC at the Hague. 2 Likes |
