betterABIAstate: Shut ya gob. Who/what is AIT and why would any sane person ask an economics illiterate and class clown for his opinions on something as complicated as this one? Just reading his rants and chest-beating in the past few days alone is enough to show that he's a vacuous illiterate. Next time he should shut up and tell them he'll pass on the topic. Personally, I don't even think any Igbo person should be talking. You lot gave the country the Soludo the voodoo economist and he almost destroyed the country's banking sector. Then produced a next utter failure in Iweala who the country into the mess it's right now. Yet you are the loudest ones witch-hunting a woman who just got appointed a few months ago. About shut up if you don't constructive criticism to put forward against her policies and let the woman do the job she was appointed to do? Are you the only ones in naij? 3 Likes |

YourMrBoo: "An economist is a professional in the social science discipline of economics. The individual may also study, develop, and apply theories and concepts from economics and write about economic policy. Within this field there are many sub-fields, ranging from the broad philosophical theories to the focused study of minutiae within specific markets, macroeconomic analysis, microeconomic analysis or financial statement analysis, involving analytical methods and tools such as econometrics, statistics, economics computational models, financial economics, mathematical finance and mathematical economics. A generally accepted interpretation in academia is that an economist is one who has attained a Ph.D. in economics, teaches economic science, and has published literature in a field of economics" http://www.investopedia.com/terms/e/economist.asp "What is an 'Economist' An economist is an expert who studies the relationship between a society's resources and its production or output. The societies studied may range from the smallest of local communities to an entire nation or even the global economy. " "A career as an economist has two main requirements. First, economists generally hold advanced degrees, such as a PhD or a master's degree. Second, economists typically develop an area of specialization where they focus their research efforts." There is a difference between someone who "understands economics" and an Economist. Economics and being an economists is an academic and intellectual pursuit. Ubah is a business man not an economist, he has a rudimentary knowledge of economics based on his business but I can bet you a 300 level Economics student can embarrass him on economic principles, theories or hypothesis. I bet Ubah has never studied economic modelling talk less of constructing an economic model in his life. Maybe you will soon start calling him a lawyer after all his court cases with Banks, Amcon etc Like I said, if Ubah feels he is an economist, then he should apply to the Nigerian economics socirty and see if they will admit him |

Anything to get at Yoruba. Typical of ibo man, his real target is Kemi, but had to throw Emefiele in it to distract people. Ibos will sacrifice even their fathers to spite Yoruba, though it doesn't make sense to us, but this how SE rolls. Ibos even kicked against the CBN gov that he isn't real ibo. What this SUGOMU calling for Kemi's resignation doesn't get is that while the CBN has already proven to either be incompetent or competent(I'll let experts make that call) Kemi, hasn't been given any chance to work, she's been constantly attacked since the day she was appointed and she hasn't even stepped into her evaluation period, let alone her assessment period. It's all ethnic politics from the ibos against SW and I hope Yoruba understand what's is going on for exactly what it is. |

Geeee! They are calculating that just maybe one of their own can make it back to come and finish what they started. They believe they have done a good job killing Nigeria, and all that's needed is the burial. Could you have imagined an ibo senator summoning Fashola on his first day in office? The dumb senator was expecting him to stumble, but he rather got schooled. If the shoe had been in the other foot, do you think the OHANEZE would not have marched barefoot to Abuja for protest or ICC would not have heard about how Senate is being used for tribalism against ibos? I know we are not that petty, but we need to call them out on it, so they won't think we don't know or we are stuppidd. They would stop at nothing to frustrate Yoruba and destroy Buhari's govt. I have said it once that, any sensitive position Buhari gives to these people will come back to bite him, as they will always find a way for sabotage. I know it's POLITICAL CORRECTNESS the only reason the people behind the budget sabotage haven't been named. Just wait for it! SirShymexx: |
