She's simply asking the lady to help the man help himself.

Like they say it takes two people to cheat. When one backs out, it's over til another partner comes along (unfortunately there isn't scarcity in this regard from both sides of the divide as a cheating partner will definitely find someone who want to cheat with him/her).

No matter what you do to him (castrato his ass, wreck his 2015 S65 AMG, take his kids, burn down the house) if he loves the other lady AND she still wants him, forget it he's good as gone.

What you need to do is first deal with the lady ( that is take out the temptation or stimulus) ywjen deal with his ass. If you're dealing with him without sorting out the lady, you're wasting your time hell, he might just pack out of your matrimonial home to live with the other lady.
