First Post, learnt about this thread 7 weeks into my application and just wanted to give back;

Visa Application: June 11th (Online)
Medical: Upfront May 29th (did mine outside the country)
Biometrics: June 11th
Medical Passed: 21st August
Passport Request/Approval: 25th August (submitted same day)
Passport Collected (with Correspondence letter): 27th August (2yrs TRV)

Going to SAIT, BAPT (Applied Degree) program, don't know why it took so long but glad I got approved.
I guess they are still attending to Fall Applicants, so there still hope for those waiting...

Please is this your first degree? I want to know because I'm a B.Eng holder going an applied Diploma at NAIT.

Still on this application form, the section that has the fee breakdown, is the amount available for your stay supposed to be for the two years or just a year. I read on their website that a minimum of 10000 CAD is required for a year. Since I'm going for a two years program, is it right if I put 24,000 CAD.

Good morning everyone... Pls I was told I can apply to only one college within Toronto, Ontario. Please I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket, biko how true is this?

@churkie.......wat I read somewhere on the thread is for u to put the amt for just this ist year except ur course of study is a 1year programme then u will have to show the entire money for the programme.if more than 1 year just show funds for 1 years duration. But make sure whatever u write as total here your sponsors statement of account can cater for it while also having enough change remaining.

Depends on ur luck sometime a week sometimes two weeks sumtimes a month.. Just keep praying

Try do eligibility test online then u will know what to do

Bro, not to be a crasher its basically because the VO doesn't feel convinced enough that you'd actually return after study, reasons might be *Age above a certain age applying for ungrad could be suspicious also *Family ties in Canada could be a reason and what uni are you going to?

Pls I wanna ask if its advisable to use "Affidavit of Age declaration" in replacement of my birth certificate during the TRV application process.. I don't have the birth certificate again BUT I've been using this affidavit as far back 2008.. Thanks

You can, I also used Affidavit of Age Declaration.

When aer you going for medicals

Congratulations to those invited for Medicals. Please take note, to avoid trouble-free and extra expenses Medicals, avoid stress and coffee that can trigger your Blood Pressure (a guy had to pay extra and come back for the test cos' his BP was high and he'd taken coffee), its better to go for the tests on an empty stomach. The tests include HIV, urine test for STDs, Blood Pressure test and Hepatitis and Chest X-Ray. Success in your medicals.

, please I need help on how to go about my visa application and application cost and any other necessary details.
