I already stated that humans are innately intelligent, but when we use the word conventionally, the way most of the world does, then certain building blocks are needed.

come to quora. they're all there. They're actually quite smart. but they're so young, they haven't faced real problems. most of them are at the top of their classes effortlessly. they're admired by everyone for being so brilliant. so they get proud. but then, when they clock around fifteen. which is around the time you go to university, the real problems and challenges come. and eventually, they start to see themselves as actually dumber than everyone else.

Ehm. Yes but there are degrees. I could know that fire is hot but I'm not going to find out why or discover the mechanics behind it. But that's not the matter at hand. People that are exceptionally intelligent to the average person don't think they are intelligent. That's my argument.

Oh Really?
Then who do you think is a Genius? Isaac Newton? he went through the same problem. even Muller, Socrates, Pascal . . . All these geniuses. Jacob barnett, IQ 170 physicist, had a ted talk when he was around 16 or so. He was just bragging. Now, All he does is struggle with the universe, life and everything.
And It happens to the more conventional Geniuses too. you know . . . the ones with IQ 130+
There reaches a point where you are only smart enough to find questions. but not smart enough to answer them. And Until this point comes, you WILL brag about your Intellect. That's just human nature. when we think we have a Gift, we think we're better than everyone else. until the gift becomes a curse.

I maintain, that they are aware of their intelligence, but the geniuses among them may be unaware of their genius.

Because the more you know the more questions that arise. And the more questions that arise the more you realise you do not know. So intelligent people have more things that they do not know and the world does not know. And unlike non intelligent people they can't just google the answers and be satisfied. Leaving them feeling not as intelligent as "normal" people.
