I get it, u are from Oyo. You want a city that's bigger than you to be under you, you be alainironu Ara Galatia.
Na fake history your papa teach you, Lagelu was the last son of oduduwa.
Olubadan is a first class king in case you don't know in fact am sure u don't know self.

Pensioner ke, na your king be pensioner o, he no get any job. He has been living on govt money for the past 40 years, he has been milking both his govt and the people. As for Olubadan, he already made his money, he has his legitimate business and he is covered financially.
Lmao @ amalafinest.

If you're not obtuse, you would know that the fact that Ibadan has no proper kingship shows that it has no connection to any of Oduduwa's offspring. Is that the amala history you lot tell yourselves in Ibadan to validate ya amala king? From amala politics, to amala history, and to amala kingship - I just love my Ibadan folks, I tell ya. grin

Who made ya king a first class king?

Anyway, I'm not here to slight the new king, but I just think the system is flawed and something has to be done about it. You can't keep wasting tax payers money on new kings every four years, it's unacceptable. Ibadan and Ake Egba should have almost the number kings. But when Egba is at like 10 or something, and Ibadan is already at 41st - then it's problematic. Ibadan is Oyo's prodigal son.

BTW, I'm not from Oyo - I'm the Duke of Yorubaland. grin

What's this one saying. Ibadan has no proper kingship, which kingship can be more proper than that of ibadan. We already know how the next king will emerge, as per the structure, it is proper to perfection.

So Lagelu now isn't a son of Oduduwa because you want to win an argument. You stupidity is now going beyond my comprehension.

This is exactly my problem with some boisterous oyo folks.. Bragging, waylording and basking in euphoria of an expired Empire. To an Oyo person, every person should come and be postrating for him. Ever since the story of an Empire as enthused, an Oyo man has quickly forgotten where the story and creation of Oyo started from. He forgot that, like Oranmiyan is a son of Oduduwa, there are other Oduduwa sons and daughters somewhere. Oyo people used war to gain loyalty, now the generations still thinks low of others.

Don't mind the neophyte bro.. That's in their blood. Pride! And before u say jack... They tell u tortoises and bull stories of an expired empire that ended in Oyo Ile.

Well, let me congratulate Kabiyesi Olubadan titun.

Long live the new Olubadan.

Thread devolved into a (mimic of) Anambra v. Enugu/Imo state fight. Chino must be here somewhere.
