As a series of photos on his Instagram reveal, his mum was in Ijebu Ode last week to cut the ribbon on the new play area, which includes some pretty sick pink tyres to climb on.

“Me and my Dad been talking about making a place for the children to play in his village in Nigeria,” he wrote.

“He sent me these pics and my heart is smiling, I told him to wait for me to come and add the finishing touches but he wanted my Mum to open it before she flew to London tomorrow haha, sweet boy ting.

“Gonna keep developing this playground and hope we inspire kids to get into activities and maybe find talents they never knew they had.”

The parents of the Adenuga grime dynasty – which includes JME and Beats 1 presenter Julie Adenuga – recently moved back to Nigeria. Skepta has already promised to build them a house there.
