Was referred to the regional HQ in Ibadan some months ago... Was told point blank by the HR head ...They don't take state schools... Except it's a contract job...
Acebar:
let us just know dat Access bank don't employ STATE UNIVERSITY graduates. my uncle is a manager in one of their branches at the eastern part of the country. if u have a legit Intel in the bank, u can still verify
... and if it's online application, you won't even get test invite undecided No harm in trial tho...things change

They should take their bank jobs and shove it down their throats since they are always looking for people in their twenties, how can they all contribute their relevant quotas as employers of labour when they all go for the same ages all the the time with thousands of graduates out there that have graduated years ago and are very exceptional. Shame on them.

Your contact at the "Regional HQ" LIED!

3 of my fellow state school attende friends almost got into Access Bank training school(after passing all stages and the 2M account opening).

The all fidgeted and turned down Access Bank because of the very silly bond!

Do companies still discriminate against state schools in this century

Yes you can ALWAYS apply but your age would let you down once again. There's no harm in trying anyways. Access is a place anyone would like to work

It wasn't the age before

Feel free to apply my brother. I know someone that applied before but didn't pass the interview with the head of HR. He applied again the second year and got into training school.

For all dem Access bank bashers, you're all lazy, even if you work for KPMG or pwc, the reality of the workplace today is that you must deserve your pay.

Youths today wear me out, I can't deal. Y'all want to earn 200k but don't want to put in the commensurate work.

Siddon there and be managing 50k customer service job without any career path for development you hear but let others who wanna make something out of their lives embrace opportunities.

Thanks for the advise. I will send in my application

Ok. Using a pc solved the problem for me and my cv was in doc format... Anyway, I am glad that you have resolved the issue.
