There was a funny incident I heard of that happened inside OAU long time ago. Some group of women on sighting the building which is the School's Faculty of Education, Started shouting " Hey it is about to collapse o!! The building is collapsing!" etc. lol, the building was actually not collapsing, but the women in their ignorance thought so due to the amazingly "Slanting" structure of the building. There are many beautiful and gigantic structure inside OAU with each having its own uniqueness. But the following faculties - Education, Law, Social sciences, Administration has a special view that appear as though they are collapsing. The most beautiful of these four is the faculty of Education situated adjacent to the "Tripplet buildings" ( Law, social sciences and administration.) It also contain the school Radio station [ GREAT FM 94.5].I am sure a lot of people will avoid passing beside these Structures for many months long ago after it was completed with the fear that it may collapse on their heads. See the picture below.

Obafemi awolowo university has really beautiful structures! There's a building u guys call spider. The architects behind the construction of that building really did a fantastic job.

GREAT IFE! This one is still a tip of an ice berg OAU shld be a tourist center in terms of structures. Even I'm sure an harvard university student won't stop been amazed at such epitome

This is actually a uni that wasn't built with oyel money like our brothers will say,it was built with COCOA money.and that man,that special man that went to borrow money from odotola and was not given built it..that very special man, snr apostle,rev ,father , bishop, dr, lawyer ,his excellency, his royal highness,commander in cheif,the nightmare of some people,his royal majesty OBAFEMI AWOLOWO built it.

Spider House has departments like Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering, Metallurgical and Materials engineering.
