After This Post, Richiez , olawalebabs , Fynestboi & Lalasticlala Should Stop Paying Attention To Those UnPrepared/ Dull Candidates Calling For The Scrapping Of JAMB 2016. Because, As Far As You Are Intelligent, You Must Definitely beat The Mere 180+ Cutoff Mark, Even If Your Result Was Poorly Marked.
Jamb Has Been In Existence Since 1978. And It Has Been The Only Body Screening Secondary School Leavers Before Post Utme Was Introduced In 2005.
Fast forward To 2015 When CBT Was Fully Introduced, Its Safe To Say That It Was Success. And Now 2016, And I Must Say It Is A Huge Success As Well. For All Those Screaming #RemarkJamb2016 / #ScrabJamb2016, I Am Sorry To Say You All Are Dead Heads, Empty Brain.
Before You Throw Stones At Me. I Also Wrote This Years Jamb And Scored 243, Reason Was That I Prepared 100%. I Got All My Essential Chemistry, Physics, Maths & English Text Books. Plus Downloaded The Syllabus Of Each Subject & Read It Word For Word. (That's The Criteria For Passing JAMB)
I Didn't Rely On Past Questions Like Most Of You Did. I guess That's The Reason Why Y'all Failed. Also, Most Of Y'all Spent All Your Time On Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter While The Wise Ones Was Busy Preparing.
Plus Those Of You Making Stupid Suggestions On Scrapping Jamb, Meaning Whosoever Passed WAEC Would Just Go And Sit For Post Utme. WTF 
WAEC Is The Most Corrupt Exam Body, As SS3 students No Longer Write WAEC By Themselves. They Now Depend On Miracle Centers.

You are being inconsiderate. People arent complaining about the marking. They are complaining about the useless delays and computer problems. I also wrote the exam and studied hard. I did cbt practice countless times and I get an average of 300. My lowest score was 280 My exam was meant to start 11 am. I got to my center by 9:30. We didnt start d xam until like after 4. We were made to sit down the whole time without food or anything. When d exam started. I was hearing cries of innocent people. They were like the system logged dem out. My own case was different as my computer hanged/froze and I was unable to do anything. When I called for help. I was told that it is my computer that had the problem. Not the server and I had nothing to do than to wait. That wasnt a problem. But the problem was that as the computer froze the countdown continued and I lost an hour and about 10 minutes. (I am not exaggerating). I didnt get to finish the exam. I ended up getting 225. And I know that score isnt good enough to get me into unilag to study computer science This case is the same for a lot of other candidates. Now tell me, 1. Is it fair? 2. Should the exam be retaken? |

Well i'm okay, my exams was okay, the network and the computer were all monopolised by the power of God. I submitted with 1 hour 30 minutes still remaining. As i was anticipating for my results with high hopes, only to realized that jamb graded me with 231. Just thanked God i made it through UI's cut off sha. God will certainly help us with our post utme. |

God bless you op, like you i also prepared very well for my jamb, my mum registered me into jamb lesson, I bought textbooks running up to 8,000 naira, i didn't have a nice sleep for 2 months just because i wanted to pass my jamb with flying colours. I also prayed to God also. i wrote my jamb and my score was not what i expected, i was kinda sad but I was glad it was above 220, am going to try harder for my post ume though.
Where i registered for my jamb, a lot of people were paying huge amount of money so that they can be posted to special centre.
A lot of jambites failed to prepare for their exams and when they fail they want jamb to be scrapped.
Like you said some spend their time on the internet but i rather say when you are determined you will pass very well. i spend a lot of my time on facebook, whatsapp, instagram e.t.c but I was very determined that i was going to write my jamb very well. But the bottom line is to put God first. Congrats Dear. Truly Hard work Pays.

Yeah valid points; some lazy students who didn't prepare for the exams have been disturbing our peace on this forum by aligning with the unfortunate brilliant ones for the remarking of UTME.
You goofed! Yes you did by bragging to be an 'Intelligent One ' whilst you still need to be smart with your 'Use of English ' and you were pretty lucky with the logistics during your exam . Next time don't jump the gun 
....And to Prof Dibu Ojerinde, concerted efforts should be made to avoid further embarrassment in the future by having a Mock (CBT) UTME in selected centres around the 6 geopolitical zones of the country.
You don't want to scrap JAMB and NYSC. Never it won't work.
More holistic reforms should be done

My younger sis,for some unfortunate reason got to her centre terribly late. Exam was scheduled for 6.30am nd she arrived the centre by 8..
After so much pleas, she was allowed in. She hastily managed to answer questions on 3 subjects...Chemistry,Physics and Biology.
When her score came out the following day,she scored 222. That's a 15yr old child writing JAMB for the very first time in her life.
And what did you sister get in English since she didn't touch it. If she score above (5) that's a proof for you that she's only lucky. Your sister hasn't done post utme, so she can still write jamb for five more times. Cheers |

Jamb released a statement debunking the allegations that questions 11 to 20 weren't answerable but later gave free 40 marks to those affected , why ? Is it a compensation for their mistakes or what ? So far as i know jamb had never given 1 free mark before but why this year well i guess you aren't sure that is your result and afraid you wouldn't get up to that if it is remarked and you said you prepared 100% ; lack of confidence i passed but not enough cost success is never enough , am confident that if jamb is remarked i would score more than that silly 220 after spending over #20,000 on tutorials for the past one year , advent of CBT should be beneficial not detrimental .
