I remember dis one time in my 'hood when i was trying 2 get dis dame's attention , i'd observed her movements 4 awhile, so i kinda knew when she'd come out of her crib & where she was headed sometimes!
one friday - she normally visits her best friend fridays - i traced her 2 her friend's street & was chillin by a corner on d street waitin 4 her 2 show; 10mins , 20 , 1/2hr , 1hr , d baby no show; i still maintain, believing dat Coca Cola advert sey persistence pays!!! ,

then it started 2 rain like mad & u know what its like when d rains come down in torrents in Lagos , drainages overflow, streets get water-logged; everybody's closeted indoors or in some shelter & there's almost not a soul on d streets.

4 2 xtra hrs i was stuck all alone in dat lil corner on a deserted street, drenched 4rm head 2 toe & freezin 4rm d cold; 2 cut d long story short, didn't get 2 c her dat day , aborted mission wen d rains finally subsided by then it was already gettin dark. had 2 wade thru a knee-high mini-stream on my way back home that left my sneaks like Fido Dido's!

but there's a sweet-sour end 2 dis tale anyway , we finally hooked-up smhow, dated 4 like a yr (guess u can say my efforts didn't go unrewarded afterall , then she called it quits , but all dats in d past now, don't think i'm ever gonna do anything like dat again!

what's d craziest thing u've done 2 get a gal/guy's attention & how did it turn out , would u do it again if the need arises?

I actually dissed this guy for no reason just to gain his attention
I told him his shoes didnt match with his clothes
I found out some stuffs about him an dI knew if someone disses him, it pains him alot
so I did it, and he fired back
my teacher wanted to punish us so he told both of us to kneel down
then I started whispering to the guy
I apologised and I told him i liked his shoe
well, he didnt always talk to me before, he was more like a snub
but since then, we became friends and you know the rest
