An Automated Teller machine overpaid you? This is incredulous. How was it programmed to function? I haven't heard these since the advent of ATM in Nigeria. Anyways, you can always walk into any of your host bank and deliver it to the Bank manager. Cos I know you will do same if the ATM had short-changed you. 1 Like |

Ayus4u:Guy there is no free money anywhere. Someone will have to pay for the extra note you collected, definitely the ATM custodian will pay for it, whom could be your friend or family member. I advise you return the money so that the custodian can be able to balance the ATM account. Any over-payment by the ATM is borne by individuals in charge of the ATM and not the bank.
