First of all.. Do you motivate your audience to travel to U.S with intention of changing the status of their visa? If your plan is to study in the U.S Why not do that when apply for U.S Visa. I'm very sure you will not be able to switch to student visa that is if they even issue you a visit visa. by the way you're on the wrong thread. Have a great day motivating.

The only reason why I decided to use the visit visa is due to lack of finance. I don't motivate my audience to travel to US

I made payment for us visa fee through gtbank online portal. And I realised when the receipt was generated that a number was omitted in my passport number , while every other information was correct. can I go ahead and book interview with the transaction reference no like that. or what should can be done.

2012, I got talked to by an agent to apply for US visa, so he made up papers for me claiming I worked in a company which I never did but was finally rejected a Visa( No document was asked..fast forward to 2013, my elder Brother went to US through education and later got married in 2015 Dec( Not to a Citizen) my mum was given a Visa and I later applied in 2015 Nov to attend the wedding( This time, stated I am a Student in 400l) and I was certain of coming back because I had just a Semester left. but I was rejected and applied again 2016 Jan and was stll rejected. Pls, Is there any way I can appeal to the embassy because of my 1st 2012 application that is hunting me for them to know it was an agent that did that. Because I would love to clear my negative record. Hoping for suggestions. God bless u all.

Why not apply for student visa in Nigeria if you can afford to study in US?

Do you have rejection papers stating the 2012 problem?
This may not be the reason for your rejection.
Your ties to home do not seem very strong, this may be your problem.

On the other issue, any and all documents submitted are taken as your responsibility 100 %.
"An agent did it" does not count for anything as they take it that you are still responsible for what was submitted.

Do you have the rejection letters or the codes that they used?

Ist thing : u have to take take responsibility for your actions. Stop blaming the agent. If u haf been successful u would have claimed 'sharp guy'
2nd: when u have accepted that u goofed then for your next application u have to come clean.
There is a column for have u ever been rejected and reasons. U will have to state all the nansense u cooked up.
Again there's another column that's asks if u have ever tried to enter the us fraudulently or by misrepresentation. The nswer to that is yes so its pointless telling you that u have to click that option. U will then again tell them all the nansense and ingridents u filled.
Then u hope and pray for a forgiving vo.
But before all these, u ask yourself if u have ties. Do u think u can be considered eligible to visit the us?
Finally have u considered that u may have a ban?

Ok, is it possible to get the 214(B) paper and stil get banned? I jsut wnat to know the right thing to do next.. since I have applied twice stating I am a final year student.. will that clear my previous bad record?

Ds 160 asks for work history. The young man filled poo the ist time. Then student the next time....ummmm whether they asked for documents or not the inconsistencies are clear as day. Trying to hope for the best whilst ignoring the past won't cut it. Rip the band aid off and face the future (too much grey's anatomy worrying me now )

What does the payment confirmation/reciept show? If its different from your passport nos then u cannot possibly continue with it.
As for. What to do, no idea really. Cally the helpdesk cos if u go to a gt branch it will be a waste of time as u paid online.

We both went for the interview but were refused the visa because the VO said the form was filled incorrectly. the refusal letter was issued in his name, sadly we av been separated for more than 2yrs but not legal separation or divorced yet so i am confused as to what is applicable as my marital status on the form.... I avnt had any other encounter with the US embassy since then but now i intend going for a tourist visa.... My passport has my maiden name and i av used it to and fro UK thrice in the last three years.... Pls advice me as i dont want any misrepresentation or error in filling the form.

Is there any such thing as legal separation? You are either Single, Married, Divorced, Separated or Widowed. So look at the form and pick the one you feel applies to you.

yes i av taken a look @ d form.... I had to pause due to my confusion... Options there are single, married, legally separated, divorced, widowed..... I am neither divorced nor legally separated as we havent taken any legal action.... I stil av the marriage cert though, but we are not together anymore.... Just put seperated there. They are not interested in seeing any document about that, unless u are going for a fiancée visa

please i want to ask this. i am on a visit visa and intend spending 3 months here before i return back to nigeria. i am in baltimore, maryland now and i intend to drive around. i have an international drivers license from nigeria but someone told me i can convert my international drivers license to a maryland Drivers license for the period of my stay here. is this correct pls
