You're dead wrong.
Most of the students I know, and I see use ride in UNILAG have honest business ( painting, acting, arts, comedy, networking business like food supplements, electronics , etc; even dancing, real estate, ushering, transport business, chemist, gym, swimming training, music, as singers; etc).
Lagos is conducive for business because of huge patronage. In addition, UNILAG students have more access to scholarship awards and other academic grants because of the vast multinational companies in the state. As a medical student, I got above #300, 000, (three hundred thousand naira) as scholarship per session. Nowadays, most medical students get higher than this? I know a medical student who collects as high as #150,000 for a single painting job. His face has even graced nairaland a couple of time.
This is not to say there are no yahoo boys in UNILAG., but majority of the students have honest means of making money, and majority of these students are from wealthy homes that can afford to buy them cars.
For Yahoo Yahoo, and even yahoo plus, I give it to LAUTECH. I think it's a7-unit course there.
