The poster doesn't know the hometown of Mr Akpabio. These are pictures of dualised roads and junctions in th state capital Uyo and not Mr Akpabios home town. Mr Akpabio is from ituen in Essien Udim LGA. Poster always get ur news right and verified before posting. Tenkiu. The only attraction that can be compared to this is in Akpabio senatorial district (ikot ekpene senatorial district ) and not his home town.

Come to Akwa ibom, even Uyo, the state capital, he did nothing. Many unfinished road contracts. Ikot ekpene has got only Four point by sheraton (abi na akpabio build am?) the hotel management is counting their losses now. Akpabio is the greatest thief. They say 'to whom much is given much is expected'. Dont be fooled guys. If you are not here, the stories u hear about Akwa ibom is doctored and full of lies. Akwa ibom is not very different from other poor states in nigeria. The good roads that lead into Akwa ibom are MNDA constructed roads and that is why they look good. Internal roads in Akwa ibom state/cities/towns are very bad.

Situation of light here is not different from Osun state. Only Ibeno gets almost 24/7 light from Mobil.

I've got so much to say. But I rest my fingers here.

Akpabio is a superfraud and only few Akwa ibom people realise that.

Nne, I agree with you intoto. I visited that state and Rivers state early in the month to see things for myself after over 5years of my last visit. The much touted developmental strides in these two states are complete trumpery. These states garnered only media triumphant in terms of development, opportunity and progress. A minor section of Uyo and Ikot Ekpene experienced some level of infrastructural (roads & street lighting) upgrade and development. 90% of the area in Akwa Ibom is still untouched after 8years. Is that what we celebrate as development vis-a-vis resources in that state? Rivers state is even worse. People still think backward. Still dumping refuse on the express ways and middle of streets. Road managers take forever to evacuate them. The streets are already stark dark by 7pm. Things are in haphazard and eyesore.

The 90% untouched areas are they not part of the state? What do you call development when there are no commensurate opportunities and or empowerment to create opportunities? Don't we deserve more than bragged development? What a shame! What a shame we celebrate mediocrity!! What a country?

There are more tarred roads in Akwa Ibom than any other state in Nigeria.

Again, one the first three pictures or so is IK, the last one is Uyo, at Wellington Bassey Way, where the Government House is located. Senator Akpabio equally did that.

point of correction ...am from ORON local govt in akwa ibom state ...and I can attes to the fact that he changed life's ....I felt it even I'm my village ..the road in my street was paved wt drainages on both sides so shut up ...he is the best in the last administration... No doubt

Ikot Ekpene is the major town of Annangs just like Aba is major town of Ngwas in Abia State. I wonder what is Rochas business here or what I should be jealous of when I got nothing to lose or gain. Akpabio tried for his Annang people that's all.

1. Akpabio as the governor of akwa ibom and his wife and children never lived in akwa ibom, he ported himself and his family to Lagos.

2. You can not show us anything he built beyond the road you are showing and 1 library, 1 football field , 1 cinema and 1 uncompleted hospitals after boasting and posting the largest state budget in Nigeria.

After the road and fly over in one single location in uyo, he only completed 3 projects after 8 years in office.

I dare you to prove me wrong..


3. Poorer states with smaller budgets completed more projects than Akpabio many times over.
