I came crying yesterday i couldnt get PTA. i had just 1k with me. I called travel agent to change my flight till Thursday hoping to get PTA. I couldnt risk it at POE. at 6pm, my brother who was expecting called if i had checked in. I said i was sorry i had delayed the flight. He was furious and ask me to leave the house immediately. Flight was 9.30. see race. we drove like Shumacher to the airport. Thank God i was quickly attended to cos of my belle. But my heart was still racing... Just 1k to show at the POE.

I can recall @omodadi telling me i will find favour just like @leakytribe yesterday. Lo and behold, POE went thus:

IO: why are you here
Me: On vacation and have my baby
IO: Just tell me you are here to have your baby. Dont lie. People are sent back because they lie
.
Congrats on your successful POE. Crossing the almighty Houston with 1k without hassles is something special,God has favoured you in a special way.

Thank you very much for the responses. @omodadi , @evemama, @ladyguinivere and @kemmytino.

I was reading through transcipts and i saw references to "travel history in the past 5 years" and other sections in the DS - 160 form . The question comes under "Work/Education/Training". While we were filling the form, we saw the section of Work/Education/Training and it only had a sub-section titled "Present". The two other subsections "Previous" and "Additional" did not show. I opened another DS 160 to confirm that i was not making a mistake and it still did not show the remaining sections.

Today out of curiosity , i started filling another form and i saw the two sections i did not see while filling mine.

I have submitted the form since Friday and booked an appointment. Please how can i rectify this problem? Do i fill another DS 160 form? Do i inform the embassy? What is the best thing to do?

Thanks in advance!

HELLO AM IN DALLAS

Bimdazzle:
Hi all,
To God be the glory, entered Dallas via Atlanta with Delta airline on mar 26 @ 34wks.Poe was a breeze, no major questions, no correspondence asked for. I'm here with hubby and 2kids. Hubby was just asked what he does and why we were there. He also asked how far along I was and then stamped us in. No agriculture or 2nd check point. Also anyone looking to get PTA, try standard chartered. I got 4K from them. Any moms in Dallas , pls pm , so we can keep in touch.

Out of curiousity, both the new and old forms are they for females? Please verify. Cos the forms are more elaborate for men.
If u filled the ds 160. And it actually submitted u have no issh cos its designed to ensure u fill all columns before u can move to the next column.
Verify and pls get back to me/the house

If you've filled the form and you were able to submit, no qualms. Afterall, u completed yours. We discovered the forms are different for ppl maybe depending on wat uve filled earlier we thought (self and hubby) but I just read here now dt it's diff for man and woman ( I nor know) u remember JAMB has options abi? Same with DS 160.
Wishing u all the best!

Thanks for your response. I really do not know how i can thank you!

The forms i filled were for females.

So i tried filling two pseudo forms now : one for a female and another for a male.

The female was just like the form i had filled earlier without the two sub-sections.

The male form was more elaborate and had the two sub-sections i thought i did not fill.

Hence, the DS-160 is gender specific.

Really appreciate your efforts .

Regards,

Nupital

@jollybaby,
am yet to use oakbend, I plan to use them. Get in contact with a doctor there, many people have use the place with contacts all over this thread. Am using Dr Fagbohun, Google him, their is also Dr E lots of folks have used them. Send an email to them and get the charges, I hear it's been adjusted a little, so might not be exactly what Dr Fagbohun initially gave me. Don't know how to use pm, I could have sent u my no but won't like to drop it here.

Go up the page and put oakbend medical center in the search space and u'll see writeup of pple that used recently and their charges.

@ladyguinivere and @omodadi i stand to be corrected though but I don't think the DS 160/form is gender specific. I believe the questions that pop up depends on the sponsor of the trip. I have helped an aunt who was sponsoring herself fill her DS 160/form and she was asked exact questions as my dad whose DS 160 I fill as well...meanwhile my mum who is been sponsored by dad is asked same typical questions as @nupital
