Sir, I know you're an Arsenal FC Fan, please where would you like to see Sadiq Umar go? #smiles

This lad is another rising gem in our football. I also saw the news just last night as a follow-up to similar reports on march 14 or so...

I think Arsenal offered to pay up theirs in 3 installments compared to Dortmund's 2 installments.

He should go where he has a chance to play regularly... get a few seasons under his belt then get a big move.

It's sad this lad MIGHT NOT be on the party to Rio. Well, I hope he's given a shot with The Super Eagles ahead of the Fifa WCQ final round.

I predict his Super Eagles chance will come later this year or just early-mid next year.

He's another super potential for Nigeria's next (and rising new) Golden Generation of players.

I won't be surprised if we have oduduwa as a CB at the Olympics. We survived the Brazil test mainly because of the keepers but with a better defense, we have a real shot at the gold.

Good highlights. I observed some of those games were youth tourneys especially d first one he scored a goal.

A good prospect for Nigeria going forward.

He may nt likely make it to Rio.

However, Amuneke should endeavour to include him in his U20 plans. He would b Great value added to that team. He should b groomed along with the likes of Zaharadeen Bello, Sincere Seth, John Lazarus, K.Nwakali, Samuel Chukwueze, Musa Yahaya, Ifeanyi Mathew, Taiwo Awoniyi, Victor Osimhen, Chidera Ezeh, Sadiq Umar & his other Roma colleague (forgotten his name) among others. Azubuike Okechukwu is also very much elligible. This crop always reminds me of the Saudi '89 boys that were a mixture of the 85 & best of 87 eaglets plus other new additions.

Watch out for d next U20 class.

What out for d next U20 class.

The only youth team highlight was the first goal.

I hope he is considered for the under 20 if Siasia does not have him in his plans. It will be a shame though.

Shame? Y?

It only goes to show the high level of competitiveness of the Olympic team which is good for our football.

I feel he should have a chance to prove himself at under 23. Defense is the weakest part of that team.

Omeruo is probably the best CB in that age group. But who else? Ekpolo? Oduduwa? They are playing at a lower level than Awaziem.

Balogun is overaged but we do not know if he is even in siasia's plans.

Wilfred Ndidi also plays CB. I am nt ruling Awuziem out I am only saying his chances are slim. I know a coach like Siasia would rather have Segun Oduduwa in that team than Awaziem.

The Kingsley Madu that some of us have mentioned is our best LB has never even beem part of Siasia's plans. He was nt in d Egypt games neither was he also in d Brazil friendly.
Siasia might jst take Amuzie to Rio and drop Madu.

I dnt know Siasia's plans abt Omeruo bc he has never said amything abt him.

Isaac Success is to me one of the most ignored talents we have today. U saw how Manu benched him for a less fancied Awoniyi at the WYC. Since then no U23 invite, no Super Eagles invite.

Moses Simon has nt yet featured in any of Siasia's games. I wont b suprised if he choses Stanley Dimgba and Godwin Savior as his preferred wingers.

I am jst waiting for that controversial final 18 man list.

We are not even sure if Ndidi will be given a chance. He was also not invited for under 23 or super eagles. Success might still get a call since he was called for the U23 tournament (even though he could not make it).

I am waiting for the next friendly list.

We need our best legs in Rio.

We as analysts/Journalists/close observers need to play our own parts.

The question was why did we substitute Amuzie for Echiejile. I said, the coach might have wanted a wing back to offer more forward.

I also said I disagreed with the change because a creative player will offer more. I stressed that was the wrong change. Over and over again. I said we needed the likes of Nacho and Iwobi in.

With the announcement of Amuzie's knock, it showed two injuries, Etebo and Amuzie messed up Coach Siasia's substitutions.

How can a coach had wanted a wing back to offer more forward when he knew the threat Salah will pose to the team?

Amuzie was on yellow and was likely to get another because he was mesmerized by Salah. grin

An old article on Nura Abdullahi. It seems we have something in this lad.

Roma teenage sensation tipped for the top

Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini has insisted that he is expecting a lot from talented youngster Nura Abdullahi and believes he is on the cusp of making his debut for the senior side.

The Nigerian teenager arrived from Spezia in the summer, and despite operating as a right wing-back, he has already scored three goals in six games for the Primavera side and has the whole of Trigoria talking.

His impressive form even led to an appearance on the bench for Rudi Garcia’s side for the derby with Lazio last weekend, and it remains to be seen when he is able to break into the starting line-up.

Sabatini has invested a lot into the young star, who he has labelled as being “a phenomenon”, along with his compatriot Sadiq Umar, as it has already cost the club €500,000 for the initial loan, while it will be an additional €1.25 million to make the deal permanent which is likely to happen given Abdullahi’s growth since joining the club.

The owner of Spezia, Gabriele Volpi, found Abdullahi at one of his football academies in Nigeria, and after the youngster spent time developing the fundamentals of his game, it appears as though he has arrived at the right place at the right time yet again in Rome.

With Sabatini in his corner, it will now be up to Garcia to make the call on whether or not he has handed a chance to impress after the international break.

You can see Amuzie was missing in the team list of his club yesterday. He is injured and that was why he was substituted.

So there is no need prolonging an established fact.

By the way, even with the Yellow card, that would have been a wrong change because we needed goals. Pulling out a defender for a defender was a wrong choice.

If Coach Siasia pulled him out to go three at the back. It would have been ideal to pull out Amuzie for an attacker or an attacking midfielder.

Leave out Iheanacho!!! Nacho was injured for almost the entire 2014/15 season while Solanke did his goal-scoring business.

Nacho's only appearance before his return towards the season's end was a less than 15 mins cameo before he picked up a serious injury in the Uefa youth league. (He only featured for less than 11-15 mins in the Uefa youth league--- On page 113, you made it look like he featured in the whole competition because Solanke finished top scorer #smiles).

On his return he banged in 6 goals in 7 games (plus scoring against Solanke's Chelsea in a game- the 2nd leg- Solanke didn't even score. Chelsea won 2-1 and 5-2 overall I think? To lift the FA Youth League cup..... Nacho didn't even play the first leg. He only played the 2nd and that was his only appearance in the FA Youth League cup)...

When it comes to Solanke and your absurd comparisons with Nacho.... You don't give the whole facts!!!!!! Just because you wanna make Solanke look too good comparatively..... Not good Sir!

Solanke is no match when both are at the peak of their powers..... Mr. Forgiveness Solanke. #smiles

.

I'm still watching.... Keep your eyes open. #winks

Technical facts proved that when Iheanacho eventually played, they were still thrashed by Solanke's Chelsea. grin Meaning nothing changed afterall. grin

Na still the same class dem dey but one get A while the other get B. grin So, how do i leave out Iheanacho? grin

What do you mean? Amuzie went to surgery for a serious injury. A Cruciate ligament tear. The Doctors gave him nine months to return. He came back in six months which is impressive. He came in as a sub and impressed the coach to get a starting role.

Unlike what you are trying to insinuate, the boy has impressed and has done well.

As I said, it explains the change when once he had a knock, Siasia pulled him out because he knows the boy just came back from a serious injury.

That also explains why the coaches left him out.

I like your defensive selection.... Please update it by adding one more defender. Siasia is likely to take 6 defenders, 5 midfielders and 5 forwards, in addition to 2 goalies, to Rio (just like he did in 2008).

With Ndidi in Central defence, we also know he's a good cover in the DMF role. Why not include him as one of your 5 or 6 midfielders? That way we only go with 5 defenders and not six. But with Ndidi in defence, then we go with six defenders. Tu comprends? #smiles

Is your list formation a 2-5-6-5 or a 2-5-5-6? (Not minding Siasia's choice... He may go with 5 or 6 at the back. It depends. But 2008 shows 6).

I will add one defender to make it six.

Siasia formation is always 4-3-2-1 or 4-3-3
