If they want to remain the best and salvation to Nigeria then they should work on 3 most important thing
1.) it shiuld be spread all over Nigeria, in sny part of Nigeria their should be Ntel good service.

2.) their 4G should be 4G nothing less, speed should never go lower than 5mbps per second for any reason at all. Even if the whole Nigeria uses their service and overhauls server the speed should never go lower than 5mbps.

3.) pricing and unlimited data. If i am to set their prices they should unleash monthly plans and no daily plan nor weekly plan , pricing should go thus

1000 for 3gb

2500 for 9gb

3500 for 15gb

And

5000 for an unlimited plan

All should be monthly plans.

With these i swear on God i and my whole fam shall welcome strongly this NTel and stick to it for life.

All of u want cheap cheap tins....in return for wat?
won't dey make profit? Won't dey pay their employed graduates? Won't dey maintain their facilities?

Better be on d neck of ur govt to make d economy workable. Expect nothing cheap frm an economy as ours presently.
my guy, it cost them nothing to maje data really cheap. the amount sat providers collect from this people is quite moderate; they are just trying to make huge profit ni jawe, since our country won't intervene. where I graduated from, you could buy 100naira Internet voucher to download up to 4gb data, depending on the current speed & downloader. imagine 100student making such downloads per day, not to talk of many like me who download up to 6gb on a good day for free (can proudly boast of 15-30gb free download per month). do you think if tge school is running at a loss, they will make it .

just two frequency band 900 and 1800, so what band are they deploying for 4G Lte? In this case we shouldnt be expecting their 4G Lte network immediately.

I can see soneone saying $10 can buy a burger (it shows ure the type that believed in india 99 -1 nigeria myth). how come we have alot torrent files from this countries? you only need to do research on their networks to justify your claims. I can also see someone saying Japan is ahead of nigeria, so automatically we dhould pay more.

oga have you downloaded any game on your ps4 that's more than 15gig? Just imagine you will buy a game online like $55-70 and use more than #10k to download! I nor dey even update my own self, I do just cd games of the hype to get data...
I just updated my rainbow six siege yesterday and it is 3.7gb. On my ps4 I have digital downloads of sniper elite 3 (about 35gb), wolfeisnten the old blood (38gb), drive club (about 20gb), metal gear solid ground zero (5gb), rocket league (8gb) and some other indie games worth about 10gb.

who told U that wireless Internet isn't cheap?
In fact,it is given freely when U recharge for voice calls in most advanced countries.
Be specific bro. Which of the advanced countries? How many GB of data is given for free and what's the speed? Don't base ur argument on assumptions.

Nobody offer this price any where in the world. Yes we want it to be cheap but 3,500 for 9gb? On a 4g lte? Shey u be that famous Infocenter wey dey always post his scam sme data share everyday? On top of that 5k for unlimited data lol.

Anyway all these prices are still possible. In fact it is very possible to offer 20gb for 2k, but the take is they will give u a very throttled speed, say 20kbps, make u come tell me how u go take finish the 20gb within 1 month. This is the same thing glo is doing, their plans are cheap but to make their sim browse u need to fast and pray.
well I pay an equivalent of 5700 Naira here in bulgaria and my data plan is 6gb at 4g speed, unlimited text messages,2000 minutes to local lines , 200 minutes to landline in America,Canada and the rest of Europe. So yh it's very much possible. Even at cheaper rates

Be it a tourist city or nt. Av used 3months there and hoping to go soon again. Well i dnt knw if its on LTE bt for evry month i was charged 20dhiram and free national call. Mayb u check ya conversion list well. Hw mch b ya own dhiram conversion and hw mch b ya dollar conversion. As @ nw its on #95 to #100 and dollars in blackmarket is @ #350 above pendin hw u get it, note dollar to aed is nt as d same conversion to naira cos dollar is nt in black market price in UAE. so hw does ya conversion correlate?.
I've not lived in Dubai but I've lived in Singapore and Malaysia for many years. Singapore has one of the best LTE in the world and it ain't as cheap as u people think it is. The thing is a lot of people have data that is capped but they just don't know it is capped because they are not heavy users

Thats what I'm trying to say. Wireless LTE is always capped. Urs is capped at 6gb but some people here are asking for unlimited wireless LTE for 5k. It will take a lot to make that happen.

... Still expensive. while I was in Pakistan I bought 7gb for 60 rupees(<100 naira). Service was asper world class. It's only in this part ot the world that people pay out of their noses for basic services. NCC should do something.

I understand, but also considering the fact that I used to pay 3000 Naira for 20gb at 3G+ speed before I changed network. It's still a whole lot

Most of the downloads where made when etisalat offered time based subscription of 15 naira for every 5 minutes. 1 hr cost 180 naira and I was getting speed of up to 18mbps on my 4g phone. Within 1 hr I could simultaneously download stuffs worth 5gb for just 180 naira. It is unfortunate etisalat canceled that plan. Now I'm on Spectranet 20gb for 10k but they offer unlimited free browsing from 1am to 7am. So I just put my ps4 on rest mode and download while i sleep.

Its not as easy as you guys see it. There is a lot involved in ISP business and nobody will venture into these biz to do charity. Imagine the wahala they go through from NCC, They pay so much million to acquire Lic to operate as National Carriers, You haven't talked about there Base Stations how much it cost them to build it and maintain it especially with our epileptic power supply of which they will be running diesel everyday cos they can't depend on our power supply. Then Bandwidth, how much bandwidth do they pay monthly to whosoever. Speaking of bandwidth everybody at the moment all buys bandwidth from Glo1 and they sell it very expensive to this guys Imagine you paying 1mb for 90k monthly how many people do you think you can serve with that and tell me if you will be able to promise your clients unlimited for cheaper price and expect the service to be awesome at that level.

If you must know the total Bandwidth Glo1 brought into Nigeria via their submarine cable is 3TB and all this giants Telecoms and ISP are plugged into it including all these LTE companies who lie to you that they have 4G service. Glo are making more money from the co operate Clients not the final consumers like us and you guys should stop dreaming about unlimited to be cheap with reasonable speed in Nigeria. It will only happen when if there is stable power supply, and NCC is not killing them behind close doors and if bandwidth is not expensive from where they buy it from.

People like Etisalat spends so much money on there infrastructure and bandwidth their data will remain expensive because they are offering quality and thats what we should be opting for.
Oga, the business environ in Nigeria is hard not only on telcos and ISPs but on every frigging sector. SMEs are not excluded. These people must put the purchasing power of their potential customers into consideration before fixing prices just like everyone else does. Thank you.

I swear u are more confused. Did I mention anything about 18mb/s? Didn't I say 18mbps. And yes I know u have to divide that by 8 to convert it to mb/s. Getting a download speed of 2.5mb/s is not too bad for a 3.5g network. With that speed I can download up to 8gb in 1 hour. Problem is speed fluctuates but the average speed is around 8mbps. Pls next time read well before quoting me. Even world class lte like at&t average about 10mbps. Just put it this way, most wireless connections don't operate on maximum speed, if u want incredible speed u have to be on wired connection especially those that use fibre.

Does airtel offer 4g LTE? OK maybe my initial statement was overrated but I don't see how we can pay 5k for unlimited data on LTE. And I'm sure airtel won't charge 3,500 for 9gb on a full blown LTE network.
u seem to know much better about this network thing. Me just subscribe to a favourable one. For now, Airtel is doing me well. 5k for unlimited? No network can try that.
