I have not bought fuel beyond 86.5 per litre although not without stress. And i only buy the quantity that will fill my tank and run my car. People are responsible for the scarcity. Fuel stations dispense from a single nozzle, over buying and black market. Most of the cab guys in Abuja now buy fuel and go and sell at between 250 and 300 per litre. Then they go back and queue for another round, making easy money without suffering. The Okada guys are also involved. Selling 10 litres from their bikes for 2800 to 3000 then go back to queue. Abuja fuel palaver is a different ball game. Just siddon and look.

Simple answer, if the fuel is readily available you won't have people doing the above, you won't have black market.

I buy fuel 200 from filling stations not black market, if fuel is available will it be sold for that amount?
Call a spade a spade, black market flourishes everywhere in the world when there is shortage of any commodity.

You talk of abuja? Maybe you need to pay a visit to lagos

And are you aware that our current situation can lead to the situations you just posted? In fact,we're not very far from it. Any form of civil unrest now, that leads to anarchy and births a civil war, would just see us experiencing just about everything. My prayer is that we do not get to that point.

see not buhari as your problem
see not jonathan as your problem
see not economy as your problem

the peoples tots and the government tots seem to be diverged. (moving like parallel lines) cool

i noticed from january till now we have complained and most people i know do not have any vision

they depend for government vision

but as i always say , thing can never remain the same. never remain the same. change has come and we have to pay for it.

even after apc is out of power, we can never go back to the way things are.

i suggest you plan for your life.
god bless nigeria and mee for the prayer too
thanks

Mind you, i didnt get the fuel to buy.
As federal worker, today is 4th and i have still not recieved my last month pay.
Now tell me why God will not punish Bubu, and the 12 million or so zombies that voted him?

Fellow good minded Nigerians, isn't this the most troubling sight ever? I mean how can anyone explain to me(us) why we have this situation? the world currently is experiencing a fall in oil prices (i know we have seen the price go up recently but by and large its a huge fall from the triple digits it used to be)....theres a surplus of oil meaning theres more oil to be sold than is currently being sought. Quick question...how is there scarcity when there is a surplus? I mean there has to be real reason we are seeing these long lines across the nation, saying long line is a joke, this situation has the potential of crippling the nation.

We have moved beyond God help us, now, I think its us having to really help ourselves!

Very pathetic indeed! I feel your pain bro. I saw all these coming since last year August, I relocated to a cheaper house, reached an agreement with my landlord to pay him rent instalmentally for my office & gradually converted my land that has been lying fallow(actually allowed a poor family to be farming on it) to a plantain plantation. Buhari has finished us but I blame all the educated people that voted for an old man with analog brain who has nothing to offer. Its indeed terrible times!!

Why is this country so dysfunctional at all levels?! and then there are some that say the country is moving in the right direction...I m not sure what right mean to them.

They are doing it because the government created the Avenue for that. The product is scarce and an average man will always want to make profit. Assuming the product is available, this kind of thing you are saying won't ever happen.

So now we are gonna be talking about advanced countries huh?

Oops! I forgot there were only rural countries when GEJ was in power.

APC you can twist things anyway you want, the fact remains that Buhari is incompetent both as the President and the Minister for Petroleum.

Yet another Q.E.D.

Esseite:

Seriously, in advanced countries, no one cares who caused or did not cause it, be it Lord Lugard or Abiola... I don't care. you pay for goods, you demand for it. be it Jonathan or Buhari.
that's the reason we fight each other online due to political affiliations, rather we should be fighting for what you have paid for. if I was paying taxes to the previous govt, I would hold them responsible, likewise for the current administration.
