MODIFIED: This thread was for flyovers built by the state Govt. so if a state owns a flyover that was built by the FED GOVT, it won't appear. I taught Anambra flyover n that of a few orda states were built by the FED GOVT, hence the reason it was'nt included. Unfortunately the thread is now on frontpage n can't b edited. My apologies!

Flyover is no sign of development but evidence of unplanned urbanization. If there is a way to avoid construction of flyovers it remains a better option to save funds. This is with exception to rail overpasses or highway intersections.



Almost all States in Nigeria have flyovers or overpasses built by FG. Maybe you mean the ones built by individual States.

Anything your Imo state do not have is never ideal. Is your useless and worthless Imo state better planned than states with flyovers? You are only bitter because your state is yet to have a single flyover in 2016. I know it's really frustrating, old man..

I agree with you, anybody that do not agree with you do not have a flyover in his or her state. I have equally placed the states according to the order with which they built theirs. Anambra has multiple completed flyovers already.

Personally I don't see the big deal in building flyovers, but in any case, Ogun is currently building 15 of those simultaneously (and recently commissioned about 6 of 'em) without making much noise about it so 'kini big-deal'??

Op never travel. Enugu flyovers are uncountable and Awka flyovers under construction are not the first in the state onitsha has many including the popular upper Iweka existing for many decades

Brain disorder personified. Imo is building 3 flyovers at the moment and it still does not change my views about flyovers and their necessity. Anambra is still building its 1st 2 flyovers apart from the ones built by FG hence you are not even qualified to make noise. Like I wrote earlier virtually all States have FG flyovers.

Abia has 2 flyovers. One at Alaoji and another at Asa.

no...I think it was built by the defunct eastern region government.

Shut up you have a complex issue with brain damage. We are talking about flyovers in your state whether FG or state it doesn't matter. Onitsha(Upper Iweka, Nkpor and Obosi flyovers) has about 3 flyovers, Awka has 3 also.

Imo state does not have a single flyover in 2016. #FACT! And that is your pain and frustration! LOL

Op remove Anambra from the sub-list of ongoing construction of flyovers and put it among the states with flyovers already as the state has uncountable flyovers from Onitsha to Awka! Also put Enugu as it has so many flyovers too.

Oga, Anambra has plenty flyovers,
Upper iweka, obosi junction by onitsha/owerri expressway. Then the aroma is completed.

The nkpor(new parts/mgbuka flyover) was built by state, even though it is FG road, just like aroma, kwata and amawbia expressways) but the state govt built them ans is building them.

As for that obosi junction by onitsha owerri express, I am not sure if it is FG or state.
