Flyover is not a sign of urbanization. It's even a menace to access in cities. No modern town planner in the Western world can touch building flyover, even with a long stick, unless there are no spaces to build a roundabout.

Pls educate this semi illiterate. The western world is even thinking of d transportation of tomorrow because roads are not sustainable in future cities, whilst scandinavian countries are heavily focused on moving more pple off roads and on bicycles by actually increasing cycling portions of existing roads, and dis guy is talking like flyover is an achievement in road construction.

The Op is high on Oshogbo weed.... there three fly overs in Jos, Two has been (Secretariat jnctn and Gada biu) completed and one is still under construction ( Behind thr Polytechnic).

My brother, Ex-Governor Peter obi administration construct 2flyovers before leaving office , one at Nkpor while the other one is at obosi. Excluding the upper iweka flyover that has been there for decades. And the current government is building 3 at Awka .

Almost all States in Nigeria have flyovers or overpasses built by FG. Maybe you mean the ones built by individual States.

so all the fly over in United State, China, Japan etc are as a result of unplanned urbanization abi?

Any state desiring modern city status requires flyovers at strategic locations. Its not a luxury but a necessity.

The bolded is absolutely untrue. You cannot avoid an intersection in road construction. The best and only way to avoid an intersection is flyover. Every intersection with traffic light is a potential flyover. The only thing that differenciates one intersection with the other is traffic volume.
