That's exactly my thought. I don't know what is lacking. Durant, westbrook and ibaka looks like a great collabo. I dont know if the rest of the team are the main issue or westrbook trying to hard. Its hard to believe a good team like that are kind of struggling.

Now looking at that, the rockets surely have an easier run in!

The only respect I have for mark cuban is that he has won a a championship ring, especially with that team that really only had Nowitski, it aint easy but he (MC) has pulled one down for dallas which is better than going a decade or so without one!

The problem with the OKC is their predictability, teams can predict their game plan and smart teams can neutralize their positives, after they lost Harden it changed the dynamics of that team as they have been unable to replace his scoring despite numerous trades.

Previously Westbrook was maligned by critics and fans for not being a genuine point guard however after Harden left and the failed production from numerous replacement trades critics are now suddenly celebrating westbrook as a top point guard.

The thunder need to evolve their style of play especially if they succeed in convincing Durant not to leave, they have the interior players i believe but they need that third player who is unpredictable and can take over games either from the bench or the starting line up, every title seeking team must have that player, they lost theirs to the Rockets.

P.S: In the instance Durant decides to leave OKC, i would personally make a call to his mother to convince him to consider us (Celtics) we are one superstar (preferably a scoring superstar) away from the top, it would also be the easiest route back to the finals for Durant.
Its a win-win situation for everyone even though Lebron would detest such move

If you watched the game, you'll notice text didn't lose because of 3s. They played mediocre defense. Same sleepy defense against Celtics. Careless turnovers from Green, Curry and Speights. Some 9-2 runs, 20Turnovers as at 3rd quarter. Sometimes you might play the same game on Curry and he'll still give out 40. Good offense, bad defense = Loss

For a long while now, Spurs have been he most defensive team. Thing is that in a 7 game series against the Spurs, GSW will have to come out to play big tine offense for 4 games. It is possible but the Spurs are also good in the defence, capable of shutting any team down and have a bench that can come up to perform magic.

I also believe the Spurs win against GSW was more of a psychological boost for them like a "we can beat this guys. We have done it before" going into the playoffs.

Thats if they meet in the playoffs anyway because anything can happen to either team

Yeah. No team can stand the Spurs in defense. If you notice, the only time the Warriors lose to other team except Spurs, they always play over average offence with more turnovers, increased in points from turnover less 3pts made and less point differential. Only the Spurs can stop warriors in a 7 game series cos Pops is brilliant and would always slow the game down and dictate the game pace with the surplus of their BIGS on offence and constant switching of their small on defense (which sometimes doesn't work well against Warriors).
Steve Kerr learnt from Pops and he's also very sneaky sometimes. He knows what to do if we meet Spurs. I don't pray to meet Spurs but if we do, so be it. I'm more interested in repeating and making Queen LeBron cry which will not be possible if we don't beat Spurs.
