You definately can. First time I wrote I had minimum 7.5, and it was in writing and reading.
I wrote again last month and nailed minimum 8 in all bands. Just believe yourself and work towards it. U really need the eight points. The other way around it is to get your three years work experience before applying. Although I must warn you that things are changing and we don't know the way they will alter the rules so please act fast in your best interest.

So far so good, Unconditional Offer letter received from Flinders and RMIT. They both offered Masters in Engineering. (2 yrs)

Suggestions are needed as regards which is more suitable to accept; looking at future PR route.

Hello there, was drawn to comment on this one. With ACCA Uk , you will most definitely get a positive assessment with ICAA or other acting bodies. Also if your experience in accting n auditing was post qualification, it can even give you additional 10points.

We have had guys on this forum that got a positive assessment with just their ICAN results.
But dude , you need to read extensively, requirements on the Australian immigration website and also in relation to the assessing body. That would do you a lot of good.

Just a few lines to correct an erroneous assumption usually made her for prospective accountant migrants. You DO NOT have to submit your ICAN qualifications together with your B.Sc to get a positive assessment. I always thought this was the case especially with advice I got from people who had done theirs (the advice though was very useful and I really appreciate them) but my wife's assessment has proven otherwise. WE submitted both her B.Sc (from UNILAG) with her ICAN and both were INDEPENDENTLY assessed as being equal to an Australian degree. As a matter of fact we submitted a third qualification (so as not to take any chances) which was d Accounting technician qualification for west africa but unsurprisingly it was equated to an associated degree.
Anyway my point is it is advisable to use both ICAN and B.sc but not compulsory

I don't know about Vetasses, but Chookudi confirmed that ICAN alone should suffice for Management Accountant, Accountant (General) and External Auditor assessed by CPA (and maybe ICAA/IPA). Whichever occupation you decide to be assessed for, make sure you include your HND qualification.

thanks alot. I ran some checks, I discovered I would need to pay 615 dollars to engineers australia along with my competency report. thats quite a lot and ielts is now over 50k(paid 35k barely 2yrs ago). anyways na me wan emmigrate, dem no force me.. lol

Hello house, thanks for all the advice big appreciation all the Oga's in the house. We just got tickets for me hubby and our two kids from IOM the whole process took about 14 days counting weekends and the easter break....the price was sooo consoling about 590k for us all, luggage 40kg for adults and child,10 kg for baby. Newcastle here we come. Hubby just sent his assessment for ACS keeping fingers crossed na all we dey do. Any one needing info on how to use IOM for booking ask ur questions .God bless us all and fulfil our dreams.

MY Hubby applied for assessment before with acs with 500 aud. Just uploaded the necessary documents online and paid with his mastercard. They replied and asked for some more documentation fingers crossed for now....I hope this helps.

They don't always request additional document.

Once you visa is granted they will give some months within which you will expected to arrive oz. It is usually more than six months though.

Your 18 months visa grant start counting from the time you arrive oz.

Didn't get any request for additional docs.

From my research, most Oz employers prefer citizens or PR holders. So, like you said, its not the final bus stop. Have you heard from your friends who got it. Maybe they can give us first hand info.

Looking at moving in Sept or later. No I'm not in the UK. Did some background check You should be one of Mayor's friends (Cranfield) so we probably met when I visited last year.

Yes, assuming the medicals was passed it will show "Health Clearance Provided - no action required", there will def be a change in the status.
