Not exactly.
You will write a comprehensive business plan including marketibnbg plan, cash flow statement, cash forecast.
The proposal must be bankable.

having satisfied your bank with this, the bank then sends your application to the cbn who approves or not.

If CBN approves, it then comes to your branch for disbursement.
Bottom line, You need to have a bankable plan.
you are correct.
No loan will ever be disbursed without a bankable business plan.

OP from the discussions here it seems the credit facilities is lenient for farmers. How hard is it (accessing wahalas) for someone who wants to go into Media related micro business?
if your business fall within the business categories stated above, then you can access the loan.

You won't just go to the bank and ask the loan manager to give you loan without first establishing a relationship by banking with them for a while.
Any good thing does not come on a platter of gold,Be persistent and patiently follow the guidelines.
God bless

I dont think this MSME of a thing real or even been started as claimed by cbn. Till this moment, some banks are still claim ignorant of the whole stuffs.

For instance, i have a very strong bankable plan with Diamond, Access, skye and Stanbic banks. To my utmost surprise, only in the Stanbic bank that they gave me a good response(the bank i dont even expect they know watup compare to the previous 3 i used). A guy from Stanbic bank advised me to keep making use of my account with meaningful transactions for at least 6 months in order to quaulify. I opened an account with them immediately, makes sure i had nothing less than #2m (inflow and outflow) each month.

But seem now that the hope of getting the said loan is gradually heading to Sambisa forest reserve as the guy make a U-tune the last time i checked his office upstaire that the CBN is not yet authorize or starts approving requests from aspiring enterpreneurs.

Am i missing something here"Gurus in the house"? 8% interest on 10m loan will be so sweet. make una say something abeg.

That same bank did exactly the same thing to me. I had a turnover of like 10 mil in four months. when i inquired if i can start the application process, the stories started.
