@ enkaydewdrop, I started using post pregnancy tummy trimmer 3 days after I put to bed n I wear it minimum of 8hrs a day n I watch wat I eat despite doing ebf.
@ mitchyy, the tummy is nt fully flat oooo cos am yet to get my pre pregnancy tummy back.although I had a flat tummy b4 so it helped alittle. Funny enough Dh still complain that am not trying to get to shape back cos I ws weighing 56kg b4 pregnancy n now am 63kg.
Mine method ws the constant use of post pregnancy tummy trimmer n eating moderately cos I did nt allow anyone near me with hot water in the name of pressing my tummy n giving me unnecessary wrinkle on my tummy

My advice to those that still want to do baby shopping, from my experience. Focus on the expensive ones and limit on what others can give you easily as gifts especially if you're having naming ceremony on 8th day.
Being a ftm, I have 4 big ghana must go bags filled with diaper, detergent, baby cloths, socks, pants etc that can last me for a year.

I understand what you mean but I think it's a relative thing. When I had my daughter, we got clothes, Diapers, wipes and toys. Not as much as filling four bags o but a good number. Some I liked and used, some I didn't cos I didn't like their quality, I ended up giving them out. And a lot of people also gave money with and instead of gifts, more than we even expected, 'first baby tinz' grin

I'm not banking on that this time around, make we see. So I believe, you need to ask yourself, people around me, family, neighbors and friends, are they the giving type? The best thing is to buy the things you need, don't go overboard. Then if they bring gifts, all well and good too.
On a side note, there was a woman that used to come and visit the neighbor downstairs, sometimes even sleepover, they are all somehow related to the landlady. when I gave birth she came with my neighbor to greet me in the morning and then she came back later in the afternoon with a gift. After she left I opened the nylon, I was amused and offended at the same time, inside was the flimsiest baby dress I had ever seen, like someone fashioned a transparent pink nylon into a dress. I swear, she must have bought it for like N200 or something. All these while I've been going to Dosumu, I don't think I've seen any baby dress so cheap looking. I was now wondering, what impression did she have of me? if she saw me as someone that could put that on my baby. And I know she's not poor, it was not a matter of 'the little she could afford', they are all these people always dressed up going to one owambe or the other almost every Saturday with coolers of jollof rice and detergents to give out Lol. I dont know what became of it cos I just threw it somewhere. I couldnt even give it out, when the wife of the aboki selling provisions on my street gave birth, I couldnt bring myself to include it in the baby things I gave him. Awon gifts of 'laive'. grin

@ sayoddy , i guess u are lucky then but datz nt a reason nt to buy all u wnt if d money os available.

In my own case i got alot of diapers majority of wch can nt even last an hour n some ppl came with dresses dat i cant use for my baby so i ended up converting those dresses to house use only.all thanks to majority of ppl dat gave moni as gift.
My advise is if u hv d money,just get all u wnt for ur baby.

For the past 3 days whenever I wake up in the morning, I have leg cramps on my left leg like muscle pull and it takes a while for the pain to go, I dont know if I am the only one experiencing this.

If ur dh can,he shld get u things he wnt u to where so far u are willing to use them.
Let me use my case as example

B4 i married am d jeans n top kid of lady i did nt hv upto 5 native wear n i love my 5 inch shoes maybe cos i attended christ embassy n that improve my dress sense so when i married hubby loves short fitted gowns n loves women on sneakers so i always insist he get them for me n i only wear them out when we are both going out.whenever he sees clothes he likes n sneakers he likes he always buy dem n trust my petite body,dey go well in it.
U hv to be ready to go along with it n as for d baby own just get nice cloth n just tak note of kids u come across n d colour combination of der cloth.
Download apps to cos even ppl that are good in dressing still look out for trendy wears via dis app.

U can download some fashion app n follow dee nice combination.

You are so right on the clothes ish! Better not to buy many 0-3 months cos babies growths can be so unpredictable, same as newborn diapers. My 5month old is already wearing maxi pads

Lastly mamas that are cash strained and need top notch baby items can check @ITS NEW TO ME charity shop opposite Four points hotel! Located at prince Alaba Oniru estate Victoria island ext. They sell at very reduced rates.

@cutienik and tippex, the Lord is our strength. Will gogle it up sha and give Cacium a try, I take milk a lot so i taught I don't really need the calcium tablets, I've been taking only pregnacare.

@missmalachi, thanks for the tip. I don like that hot water thing too, although I did it after having my first child but I didn't with my second child because I had CS. I pray for VBAC this time around, if I do I will try and get the tummy trimmer..

Things you will find in other shop are more prcey in theirs. One thing about gegele market is if you don't do your market survey right you will buy expensive things. I found out that there are some shops that are not by the road side and still sell good stuff

This might be a very good bonding opportunity for you and your dh.
He knows what he wants to see you in, so let him dress you up. If he is on Instagram, some boutiques have IG handles he can subscribe to. When he sees something he likes he can buy them for you OR he can take you shopping and pick out what he likes on you.
But on your part, you have to be willing to wear whatever he likes...

I've been down with serious headache, cattarh and cough for 5 days now, I went to the hospital yesterday and was told I have malaria one plus, tho I took fansidar last week. I'm being placed loratidine,comoquine, augumentine for 7 days ( I took augumentine last month too) and arthemeter injection for 3 days. Abeg I dey fear these drugs o. Aren't they too much for the baby? I no wan born deformed baby oh.

limsycutey....You are right concerning gift some people give, in my own case , someone close to us sent a dress to my baby, this woman travel out every time o, u need to see the gown she got for my baby, very ugly, lowest quality in fact I cant describe the gown, I just threw the dress away becos I can't give such to someone else, when we visited her with my daughter and she sees her dressing, she was like ha this gown is expensive o, Is this not so and so product, I got same for my grandchild when I traveled to US, and it is expensive. I just smile, later when we where leaving she gave my daughter nice stuffs. I think people under estimate others, I don't do that, If I can't get you a nice gift, I will rather not give at all. give

Also been having muscle pull, bt it has always been my package especially during raining season n it was wit me in my 2 previous pregnancies, so wen it started again last week I just accepted it. I don't even get up again sef 2 stretch my leg wen it holds me, I just turn d leg 2 different direction until it relieves me den go back 2 sleep. Na e Sabi.

Do u av an idea of wat he ll like 2 c u wearing? Cos some like my hubby ll just complain dey don't like wat u wear bt won't b specific war dey want u 2 wear or even buy 4 u. But wit time wen I wear some clothes, he complements me n I later got an idea wat he wants. Wat I do is I don't go 2 d mkt alone if I'm going cloths shopping myself, cos I end up buying rubbish nd it's wen I get home I c dat it's rubbish, myb d mkt is ova whelming 4 me. At least 2 eyes r better. So if u av someone wit a high fashion sense n ll know wat can fit u, den u can always go 2 mkt wit dat person. After a while, u ll get an idea of wat fits n all. It's well.

I don't have magazines

my dress sense is a mixture of ok and readymade with two Ankara

my husband is d flashy type, he loves sharp outfit. he has never complemented my outfit instead he will say where did u get dis tin from?

I want to work on my outfit, normal outfits, for wedding, church, party, Ankara, hair styles even for my baby cos he wouldn't want me to dress our baby rubbish.

I want to improve on my colour combination and personality. infact everything I want to improve and impress my dh

plsss help me out, u don't know how anxious I am about this
