Happy sunday to u all mamas, my lo is a month plus nw and i want to start back wraping him or is it too early, n pls some shuld give me tips n guide on how to backwrape him.

Other August mama's I salute ya'all. Hope everyone is progressing gracefully. May God's grace never depart frm us all in Jesus name.

So today, av been in high- spirit. Woke up as early as 5:30am with a rumbling abi growling stomach, had to take tea bfor Lo's go vex . I ate dinner too early yestday, say 6pm .
Den I took my bath, took some sexy bump shots for nxt weeks #threadBumpies .

So far the Lord has been so good to me.

Good evening mothers, I knw am nt an active member but please I need advice to save my home.
My husband has been on my neck for us to start our second missionary journey by july when our baby will be 10month old.i am not ready to go down that lane anytime soon due to many factors such as
1) I deferred my m.sc admission due to the 1st pregnancy which am suppose to resume nxt year January.
2) am presently a stay @ home mum n I lost a lot of job opportunities cos I ws pregnant n now I have resume rigorous search for job wc I cant afford to get pregnant now.
3)am just not psychologically ready for another missionary journey.
My husband reason for hs rush is that age is not on his side n he wnts to hv all his kids n concentrate on training them.
Pls mothers I need advice on how to go about this cos I hv a good husband who adores me and this is trying to bring issue btw us.
Am 29 n he is 38.

Have you talked to him?
Of all the reasons listed above, its no 3 that is most important. If you are not psychologically ready, you will love your family but you will constantly resent them for holding you down.
It is you that will carry the pregnancy and stay behind to nurture the children, you should be the one to choose when next you can be available to do such. If your dh was in a hurry to have babies then he should have married earlier ( unless you guys ttced for a while).

My suggestion:
You cannot go for MSc for 18months, get a job, wait at least a year before having a baby. That is like 3 years and in that time......your family might break up.
So if I were you:
- I wait till my first is a year old and kick him off to school. ( he needs to be self dependent to make things easy for you)
- We start trying for number 2. If it enters by December, good for you.
- You carry belle do MSc, full time MSc isnt stressful if you dont have a job o. One or two lectures in a day, one day off .
- By the time you finish MSc, you would have had enough time to raise both kids. The older one will be a few months to 3 years, the younger one will be almost 1, you will have your MSc certificate in hand and wont feel guilty looking for a job.
If you will be following this route, your dh has to an absolute provider cos you and your first son will be schooling.
You need a nanny for as soon as you get deliver. If you have a car, your best bet is she follows you to school and stays with baby while you go for lectures.

Try to talk to someone or better still talk to your dh, express how you truely feel no matter how selfish it makes you seem.
He has to compromise too. He shouldnt attempt to hold you down once your MSc is over.

Psych yourself into it. Just draw a plan and fix things in and before you know it, you will gradually accept it psychologically.

Don't let this non-issue become an issue.

Sat on dh boxers, after brushing stood to get something in the kitchen that was when dh called me back to come and see. On getting there i notice i had spotted brown on his boxer. We called his doctor Bil who adviced us to head to the hospital, so here we are waiting to see a doctor. I am not cramping for now. I refuse to cast my young. This gift the lord has given us must see this earth and live till old age. Pls put us in your prayers. TIA

You shall carry your Lo to term in Jesus name. If you are in your 9weeks or 10weeks its normal to spot. I had the same experience when i was 9weeks with very thick brownish spot. Put your mind at rest you can read it up also. Stay blessed ma

@stposh...I really understand your plight but I will suggest to u to carry out dh's will for peace sake..besides it will favour you on the long run...
My story..very similar to urs
Got married in 2014, took in 3months after, resigned from work due to distance and relocation..so it means u haven't been working since 2014..
Applied for my masters sept 2014, put to bed febuary 2015. Lectures had started. Was under pressure to deffer but I did not! Started taking my lo to school at 6weeks..it was stressful but I pulled thru with a distinction(phd grade). Meanwhile I took in again when my lo was 7months..
The point I am trying to make is you can do it. It won't last forever.
Although I an not working yet, but within the space of two years, I have a son, expecting another and my masters certificate. Life continues..
I get depressed most of the time cos I get tired of not doing anything, I get stressed up and all..one thing I realised is we really do not know how strong we are until the only option left is to be strong..

I will be 24 tomorrow.. I know deep within me I am not emotionally strong bit that's the inner battle I fight just to stay strong..

Adorablewifey,don't be scared,d Lord will not allow anything happen to ur lo.You shall carry ur baby to full term and deliver safely.I had dat brown spotting when I was abt 5weeks mine even came with very sharp and painful cramps but nothing happened to my baby.So please chill and relax,u are alright.

You can if only:
-Cord has fallen.
- circumcision has healed.
- Put the wrapper set on your waist so that you wont leave baby on the back while trying to unwrap a wrapper.
You put him on your back ( if you are doing it by yourself, stay near the bed so that if he rolls over, he doesnt fall on the hard floor).
- Make sure his neck is held tight to avoid it bobbing. Also use another long thing clothe (oja) to tie the bum part. Dont attempt to wrap his legs around you or even bend it. No until he is at least 4 months. Let it be straight.
Dont pull the hands out until he is at least sitting or has good neck control.
Note that you cant sit when you back him like this.
If he wrapper isnt holding the neck strong enough, you can use another long scarf to do so.

it is well, God who started the work will complete it IJN. Nothing will happen to your lo, just don't stress yourself, talk to lo in your womb, he/she will hear, most importantly pray. You are in my prayers .

I had brown spotting too early in my pregnancy and the doctor did a scan, Ayomide was fine and we were sent home.

@Adorablewifey,it is well with you and your LO,read Isiah 66v 9 and challenge God with it. If you are within your first trimester you shouldn't worry much cos it might be as a result of implanting,I also experienced it.

U shall not cast ur young ijmn,dont worry this happened to me to at about 5months, its was brown blood and I was asked to go in for a scan to check the baby and my cervix and put on home bedrest and everything was backin place. Remove ur mind from any bad occurrence cos it's not ur report.

My dear, don't worry. It's well. I had such spotting in my 10th weeks or so(can't remb) I went to d hospital, d Dr said I shouldn't worry, dt as far as it's brown but I shld be monitoring it, if it continues, I should come. I later went for scan and the baby was okay.

@stposh, my dear this is marriage where we both compromise for peace to reign.
1. A close friend also had similar issues,she had to stop. But now she has three children and she is set to go back for her masters .
2. It also happened to me then I was having challenges getting pregnant with my second child but now I have two children to the glory of God, now I can go back.
If you can combine all fine but if not privatise.

Your doctor might recommend plenty rest and no Kpekusing until end of 1st trimester.
