Nigerin women are like every other foreign ladies. The men are too quick to judge them, but Nigerian men forget so soon that the characteristics commonly found in a Nigerian woman is due to culture and environment influence.

Nigeria has poor reading culture. If we all form the habit of reading literature outside of inspirational/holy books and newspapers, it would boost our mental capacity. Not all foreign girls read, its just that most developed countries have good reading cultures, so on average they're more widely read than we are. Attitudes/behaviors are formed from upbringing, interaction, societal views and peer pressure. So I don't really blame our ladies for their characters, its a societal problem, not a gender issue.

I for one cannot be involved romantically with a lady who isn't my tribe, talkless of another nationality. But that being said if you compare our ladies in mental and behavioural charateristics to women from other non conservative climes. You would admit a typical nigerian lady is daft and mentally inept.

the beliefs , the abilty to reason or hold conversations, the overall mentality of most of our ladies are down right crappy . There is serious need for improvement. A test of this theory is to add up a foreign lady and a nigerian and chat. You would realise that most aren't able to have a conversation on even simple issues of gossip talkless of intelligent discourse.

This doesn't apply to all nigerian ladies as I have spoken to many whom I couldn't match their intellect and our friendship was a blast. But must be said that a vast majority are mentally repressed.

In my own opinion , nigerian ladies are the most beautiful in the world especially my tribe. But asides the looks and their percieved street smartness when it comes to defrauding men emotionally and financially. They aren't up to scratch.

The way they were brought up could be a factor , where most nigerian ladies are quick to assume u wanna date her or ask her out once u start a conversation, thus in trying to be defensive she represses her reasoning in order not to appear intrested in you.

I think the above might be true because these same girls can discuss for affrica in their hostels or in familiar suroundings. Anyway arguements and intelligent discourse which shouldn't necessarily be based on emotional issues do help mental development.

I like the intellect of foreign girls, I love their reasoning. I love our nigerian ladies for their looks and street smart . But if the could get alittle bit more smarter and mentally capable. Foriegn girls could and would have nothing on you.

Please to hold an open mind to sexual orientation or feminism which many do isn't the intellect we talking about cos those ones are deluded on foreign propaganda and identity crisis

Don't mind her jare,funny thing is we are both from the same tribe,and unlike u, I can't marry ladies from my tribe except they are born and bred outside akwa ibom/cross river state, I left the West to SCH dere for 5yrs and trust me dey don't impress me one bit socially and intellectually in a robust form,she often attacks the person rather than the topic,so am waiting for her replies,as for u,I enjoyed ur topic, I also got something similar that I opened,feel free to check my threads!

well I'm definitely team Nigerian girls. They can't be all 'daft' and 'mentally repressed'. Come to think of it, if (God forbid) MAJORITY of the are, I wonder what that makes the rest of us and whose fault will that be?

My brother,it beats me,I visited one corper friend last week and she made a funny statement saying why can't our doctors go abroad and get better training like their foreign counterparts, seems all dey know is to do simple diagnoses and treatment e.g malaria, typhoid etc,whereas she was with her remote tuning to every freaking soap opera on her t.v,I just hissed, gave her a degrading look,wen she asked why the look,I told her to comment less on wat she has no practical idea abt,and focus on her t.v,I just pity the kind of children these types are gonna push out into the society for the next 40yrs,while am trying to design a better dynamic interactive user interface for our ATM machines with touch screens in view like our smartphones screens and submit my idea to the manufacturers of those machines to better serve us well(a project far away from my field),,one regular average thinking girl who can't be imaginative and think out of the box wld expect me to come and date her or waste my time chatting with her,,,most times if I got nothing doing I just sleep off,,, am not a nerd neither boring.
