gagewonda:
Op I beg to differ a little bit. I use to love d jw's nd always get angry wen pple discriminate against dem nd say bad tins abt dem. Bt dat changed wen I dated a jw we dated for two yrs nd dat gave me d opportunity to really get close to dem nd I really saw d opposite. Jw r d ones dat discriminate against oda christian far from my previous belief, dey call oda christians "them" the unrighteous who gave u pple d right to judge? From getting close u pple behave more like a cult dan a religion, u pple destroyed d best love I eva had becos I was not of ur fold. U pple purnished her by reproving her nd she almost risked disfellowshiped becos she refused letting go of an unrighteous.

Please ask your friend the real reasons why she was reproved?

I can go on nd on although u pple have ur good side bt don't make u all look like u r all good cos u r not. D sin in d jw fold is worse dan sodom nd gomorrah cos I can tell u I knw jw lesbians nd hw many of u guys sleep wit eachoda in d name of broda sister I hav come to knw a lot bt war freaks me is despite all dis u call odas unrighteous
Well I am yet to see any know lesbian that's a bona fide witness or anyone that commits fornication and nothing was done about it, Jehovah's witnesses don't condone such evil.
As far as I know Jehovah's witnesses unlike some other religious group don't joke with such issues, so verify well.

Are you sure Jehovah's witnesses don't associate with others?

alexis:
They are taught not to associate with others from other beliefs apart from preaching. They have sent many of their senior fellows to my house and after we open the Bible together and show them what they claim - most of them stop coming back. They believe that their leaders are anointed and know the Bible and they listen without and doubt what their head-quarters tell them.
Leaders?
Do they have leaders?

But the description Peter gave weren't his own, but God speaking through him. And because these words God spoke through Peter Jesus then said and on this rock I will build My church. Which means Jesus built His church on the word of God.
Sarang:
Peter was there with Jesus and he knows him fully well.
What better description can we give aside the one he gave?
We can only imitate, yes! Imitate their faith, their description, their walk and everything else there is.

Preachers are like salesmen, and if one salesman want's you to buy his product, then he/she will push it towards you, and if you don't know anything about the item his selling, then he/she will have you hook and line.
So yes a lying salesman could draw people in to believe in the product he's selling.
Same with the word of God, if he's preaching to you, and you don't follow up reading your own bible at that same time, then what he says can draw you in believing everything he has got you to believe.
So it is possible for you and the rest to believe in words that not even God had written it Himself.
Its another word for brainwashing.
Sarang:
You are really good at lying against people.
so you mean to tell me that all Jws are liers?
This statement actually makes you a lier and no one listens to a lier.
There is no way a large group of people will all be liers, its impossible.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikUzTKBPYx4[quoter=Sarang post=44820685]You believe in the only true God JESUS CHRIST?
You don't know how much you just contradicted the bible now.

John 17:3 This means everlasting life their taking in Knowledge of you the only true God and Jesus whom you sent.(note: Jesus prayed).

If the above verse is quoted correctly,I do not hear Jesus calling himself only true God.

Jehovah's witnesses are one all over the world and have no denominations like Watchtower, etc
I don't really know where you get those from but please refrain from speaking ill against other religions.

Pentecostal? I know you guys very well.
Jehovah's witnesses believe in false gods that they don't know?
I think that comment should be directed back to you since you couldn't even decipher the difference between what the bible teaches and what you believe.[/quote]

You seem not to get it, as powerful as Jesus is he never claim to be equal to God.
Jesus called his father the only true God, is it difficult to comprehend?
Take note that Jesus said one should have knowledge of his father and he himself, doesn't that tell you they two separate people?

You are getting it wrong again, Jehovah's witnesses are the only people that'll come to preach and tell you to bring your own Bible. Any version, does your church do it?

They don't force it on anyone,

And tell me, what rights have you got to try and corner me into a Church building so you can cause mockery and insults to an Church organization I may not be following. You should be looking for all the corruptions that's "worldly known" in your Church, before you think to judge another.

I would love any JW to answer this question. If you can't give a convincing Biblical answer with proofs, please repent fast and stop deceiving gullible souls.

This is my question. Please what happened to the body of Jesus after resurrection? I am asking this question because the JW says that Jesus did not rise bodily from the dead. I am not aware of any part of the Bible where this is implied. Rather, the contrary is through. I will give my evidence of scriptures that Jesus resurrected bodily and I would love the JW to give their evidence that Jesus did not rise in his body and tell us what happened to his body with scriptural or archeological proofs.

1. The Bible prophesied that the body of Jesus will not be allowed to decay and this prophecy was confirmed by Apostle Peter. Acts 2:27-31. The Bible says his body or flesh did not see corruption (decay). The JW guessed God could have dissolved his body with chemicals. This indirectly tags God (Jehovah) as a 419. He makes people to believe he raised Jesus from the dead when actually he did not. So, to cover up the shame, he had to quickly dissolve his body. How does this sound to everyone. Even when people bury their loved ones, they treat their bodies with respect. Then, our God will treat the body of his own Son even worse than that of an animal. It also means that is how we all will be treated. He certainly won't treat you and me better than he treated Jesus.

2. The testimony of Mary Magdalene, Mary, the mother of James and Peter on the resurrection morning proved that the grave was empty. Luke 24:1-12. God must have been very fast in dissolving the body such that no trace of it was left behind. And the linel cloth he was wrapped with survived the chemicals. Why would God want to do a thing like that and hide it from the world. He must be the biggest fraudster in the universe. Is it difficult for him to raise Jesus from the dead bodily. If it is, then he is no longer omnipotent. I find it strange to believe that with all the lies the JW fabricate, they command large followership. This just means that a lot of people don't sit down and examine doctrines before they believe.

3. Jesus himself testified that he is not just a spirit. He said he has flesh and bones. In addition, he asked doubting Thomas to touch him and put his fingers into the holes left by the nails. This he did and confirmed that Jesus is indeed risen with his body. Luke 24:39-40. When you asked the Jehovah witness to explain this, they say Jesus just materialized for that purpose. That means Jesus is also a 419. He claims he has a body when actually he is only a spirit being.

4. Jesus also ate in their presence confirming he is not just a spirit. Luke 24:41-43.

5. Apostle Paul confirmed that when the dead is raised, it is raised with a glorified or spiritual body. 1 Corinthians 15:44. It is sown a mortal body. It is raised an immortal body.

The argument the JW put forth that Jesus did not rise from the dead is statement credited to Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:45 which reads, 'And so it is written., the first Adam was made a living soul, the last Adam was made a quickening spirit'. With this verse, they conclude that Jesus was raised up spiritually. How could Paul infer that when the previous verse just revealed that the body is raised a spiritual body.

Jesus is a life giving spirit because he is changing lives. He is still healing the sick and raising the dead. He is giving hope to the hopeless. Even man also is a spirit being living in a body.

Besides, Jesus said, destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it. He was referring to his body. John 2:21. So, if Jesus did not rise in his body, then he failed to actualize what he said he would do. But thank God, he rose from the dead with his body.

Another argument the Jehovah witness put forward is that if he rose with his body, how come he entered into a room without opening the door. This is the mystery. A glorified body is tangible and yet can pass through walls. It sure doesn't make sense. Most spiritual truth don't make sense. Does Jesus walking on water make sense? But it is truth he walked on water.

Again they argue further if he rose from the dead, how come the two disciples he walked with didn't realize it was Jesus for a while. Let me explain why this is possible with an experience I had myself. I traveled home during holiday many years ago and someone stopped me to greet me. I responded casually and was about to walk pass him when I suddenly realize it was my twin brother. Sounds funny. Sometimes, you can be so engrossed in thought to you can't even take note of who is standing by you. I am so sure, they were overwhelmed with the news of his resurrection and they were trying to figure out the whole thing and didn't know that it was Jesus walking and talking with them.

If you insist that Jesus did not rise from the dead bodily, please tell us what happened to his body with proofs and not guess work. Also tell us why your Jehovah is unable to raise Jesus from the dead bodily.
It also means, you will not also be raised bodily and God should prepare larger quantity of chemicals to dissolve countless billions of bodies.

That also means that everyone that is in heaven don't have a body. Please all Jehovah witnesses should answer these questions convincingly or remain silent forever.

To all reading this article, please give your life to Jesus. Jesus is the only way to God. He is coming back to take his people home after which he will come back to destroy all who reject the gospel and establish reign on earth for 1,000 years before the final judgment. Anyone not found written in the book of life will be cast into the Lake of fire. Revelation 20:10-15.

You obviously don't believe 1 Corinthians 15:44 or other portions that shows Christ was made alive in spirit.

Or it could possible be that you are having issues comprehending the truth found in the Bible simply because it made your doctrine contempt, so i don't have time for your trash.

But then ill be tempted to reply you only when u and your cohorts answer me two straight and simple questions from the Bible.

The scriptures contains accounts of Angels (spirits beings) who appeared with human bodies, eat and even associated with men.

Some other angels even did materialized and got married to sons of men.

Question 1: Where did they get the physical bodies from?
Quote scriptures as well.

Question 2: When these angels were leaving the earth including the ones that came as God's messengers, WHERE did they leave those bodies or did they travel to heaven with it?

It is Jesus Christ that is coming with clouds, and John also shows that in saying "and they also which pierced him"

Rev 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

It is Jesus Christ giving revelation to John saying "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending",
phony jw does call Jesus "Jehovah"

I know the Jehovah witness cannot answer my questions about the body of Jesus. Rather, they are asking baseless questions. There are infallible proofs that Jesus resurrected bodily. Refute those proofs.

The Bible says one thing, the Jehovah witness will says another.

Tell Nairalanders what happened to the body of Jesus since you said he left his body behind. Only fools will believe your wicked lies. You can't even do that to your sons. You claim Jehovah must have dissolved the body of Jesus. Your punishment will be worse in the very hell you don't believe where your founders are already suffering torment. The demons there are waiting for you all unless you repent.

You cannot use the fact that Angels manifestation with bodies and even ate to prove your point that Jesus did not rise with his body. I don't claim to know everything but that which I know and stated very clearly in the Bible, I will say. Even the great Apostle Paul said, we know in part. I do believe Angels have bodies but they are spiritual bodies. If they don't have bodies, they cannot be seen. Only demons spirit don't have bodies. That is why they seek to posses people. The Holy Spirit also and even God himself don't have bodies. Let us not derail the issue on ground.

Jesus himself said, he is not a spirit. Are you saying Jesus doesn't know who he is. You know Jesus better than he knows himself. 'behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Handle me and see, FOR A SPIRIT HATH NOT FLESH AND BONES as you have seen me.' Luke 24:39.

Jesus also said, 'Destroy this temple and in 3 days I will raise it.' John 2:19. The Jews responded, 'Fourth and six years was this temple in building and will thou rear it up in 3 days? The writer John remarked, ' But he spake of the temple of his body ' John 2:21. This verse clearly reveals that Jesus predicted his death and bodily resurrection. And you Jehovah wickedness are telling the world Jesus did not rise bodily.

You know within your conscience that you are lying but pride will not let you change position.

Your governing body claims that they are the only true Prophets of God on earth. So, please interpret Luke 24:39 & John 2:19-21 to us. If you can't, hide yourself in shame or admit you are wrong.

But for the rest of you' you really need to listen to your own wonders like Sarang, one who has stepped out of he/she's comfort zone-this evidence will rock the boat a little, which one of you will report Sarang to your authorities?

Finely" we have a break through?
If You would just sit down and study your own bibles, instead of talking rubbish with each other maybe you too could learn a little truth in this matter.
Forget about the watchtower magazines they are child's play, read your New Would Translation bible that was written by your so called elders, a book they all swear by, that none of you seem to recognize..
Sarang:

Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

It is Jesus Christ that is coming with clouds, and John also shows that in saying "and they also which pierced him"

Rev 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

It is Jesus Christ giving revelation to John saying "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending",
phony jw does call Jesus "Jehovah"
they translate Lord (kurios) as "Jehovah"
and you go blank when you read rev 1:1 abi!

the blankness continues when you read verses 4 to 6 too!

Those who want to know the truth read all of it! not only some parts that favour their beliefs.

and after your eyes where opened to this verse, it went blank again when it got to rev 3: 2,12. cuS none of you have found the courage to say who you think is making that speech!

you accuse those who translate kurios as Jehovah, yet you will say nothing against those who translated the name of God as Lord!, see human imperfection at its best.

You are talking as if you don't know him, jman5 calls him phony and someone who was once like him has seen the truth and told him he is even blinder than blind.
He keeps repeating the same things over and over again.
He and his cohorts no longer have time for themselves again all they do is wallow in anger and hate,
Next thing they'll open another thread and start their slanderous message again.
If I see theae unserious fellow I always ignore them, let them wallow in their hate and anger.
He always judge and condemn yet he can't identify with any religious group, who does that?
Again he has refused to tell us the better organization since he knows all, until he do so he will remain insignificant.
Those who are honest no longer takes him serious, they way he lie even make the devil to fear.

Ken4Christ:

Maybe you don't realize but your last statement is one of the things we too believe though in a different light, which is that he will rule from heaven for 1000 years in a peaceful new world..he will rule the ressurected ones on earth before the final judgement.

1 important bible qotation you mentioned was 1 corinthians 15:44 nd 45.

To you,it was possible for Jesus to have been raised with his body and passed through walls but impossible to have been raised with a spirit body.

To you it was possible for Jesus to have walked with his disciples and they failed to recoganize him but it was impossible for Jesus to have eaten with a spirit body.

To you Jesus is a spirit in the sense that he heals and motivates just like every other man, but to us Jesus is a spirit that gives lives.
He was a spirit before he came to earth, after his death it's only fair that he be returned to his spiritual realm.

In view of this Jesus prayed in John 17:4/5.
"I have glorified you on earth, having finished the work you have given me to do. 5. So now you,Father, glorify me alongside yourself with the glory that I had alongside you before the world was"

And philipians 2: 9 said"for this very reason(that he died for us)also God exalted him to a superior postion..

The bible prophesied that Jesus's body will not be allowed to remain in the grave. And he wasn't, for God raise him as a Spirit.
Why do I say this?
For this simple reason that no human body can ascend to heaven. John 3:13 stated "No Man has ascended into heaven...

To be more direct,a human flesh cannot enter heaven.

Why do you think those who are being ressurrected to heaven are allowed to die first?
Mortatility does not dwell in immortality.

There are so many things Jesus did that we maynot fully understand like you said and that is because Jesus is more powerful than we can ever be.
It's called a miracle.
Jehovah ressurrected Jesus from death by means of a miracle.

It would have been unjust if Jesus was ressurrected in only a fleshly body..and I know very well that God does not act wickedly, the almighty does not pervert Judgement.

Rev 1:1
A revelation given by Jesus christ which God gave him...

It was Jehovah that gave Jesus this revelation and he was acknowledged on verse 8.

ALMIGHTY
The word “Almighty” is translated from the Hebrew word Shad·daiʹ and the Greek word Pan·to·kraʹtor. Both words evidently convey the idea of strength or power.

Jehovah used the title “God Almighty” (ʼEl Shad·daiʹ) when making his promise to Abraham concerning the birth of Isaac, a promise requiring that Abraham have great faith in God’s power to carry out that promise.

In the Christian Greek Scriptures the word Pan·to·kraʹtor occurs ten times, nine of them in the book of Revelation.
The word basically means “Almighty,” or “All Powerful.”

Similarly, throughout Revelation the title Pan·to·kraʹtor is applied to the Creator and King of Eternity, Jehovah.
The title’s application to Jehovah God is made obvious at Revelation 19:6 by the use of the expression Hallelujah (Praise Jah, you people!).

Likewise, the expression “the One who is and who was and who is coming” (Re 1:8; 4:8. clearly points to the God of eternity (Ps 90:2), who not only “was” the Almighty in ancient times but continues to be so and “is coming” as such with an expression of his all-powerfulness
