I think Flakkyy is busy but am peeping at her scripts....Jacob arrange for Jaiye to sleep with his wife and impregnate her(without Oyin awareness) and Jaiye comes back behind Jacob to woo Oyin which the latter refused n didn't know how to tell her husband cos of d friendship BTW dem and his bad temper. Children are affected by thr environment by 70percent dats y Adam was abit like Jacob n Jacob is seeing some traits of Jaiye in Eve dats why he doesn't like her much like Adam....lhahahhahahaha all in my head just joking pls.... "I received your message" Hannah said rubbing her hands together nervously, as she spoke with her husband-to-be in his sitting room.He looked calm and collected.he looked like a man who had everything he wanted at his grasps.

She had taken the extra effort to dress simple but gorgeously,she didn't want to come strong on him like a desperate woman.She could feel the tension in her very voice,when was the last time they sat together to have a cordial chat like this.She had to make good use of this opportunity.

"I sent for you,since my family and yours' have concluded on a date for the wedding,I need you to make some decisions quickly."He said,picking up his glass of juice,he took a sip.
Hannah sighed quietly,"I need you to see my doctor,to know if there are other drugs you need to take to alleviate your condition." She listened as he spoke like she was an object before him.
"That's fine by me." Glad that he was softening gradually.
"I'll update you before we go to see your wedding planner." Ade got up and picked his phones,"That'll be all for now."
"Just like that? Is this all I mean to you? An object? " She asked,her eyes betraying the tears in them.
"Oh stop that blackmail,it's not going to work,at least not anymore,we have a deal signed on paper already." Ade spoke hurriedly.
"You know,I am beginning to wonder if you had an iota of love for me in the first place,how could you discard what we shared so easily,how?"
"The moment you lied to me,you betrayed my love for you,my feelings and everything we hold dear to each other." He screamed back at her.She saw the pain that flashed quickly in his eyes before he looked away.

"And I am sorry for everything,I should have told you from the beginning,but haven't I apologised enough?what else do you want me to do?"

Ade ignored her,picked his car keys and walked out of the door,he stopped all of a sudden,"There's one thing you can do to make me happy." He smiled coyly."When you're done shedding those crocodile tears,lock up my house,you know what to do with the keys."
Hannah wept as he walked away,she listened as he drove out.She wished there was someone she could confide in,at least to lighten the burden she bore alone.

"Yesterday was the second year remembrance of Lucy's departure to glory ."Ajoke blurted over the phone as she spoke with Janet.
Janet held her breath for 5seconds,clutched the phone tighter,,how could she have forgotten such an important date,that's life for you.The man who killed her was out there enjoying his life after sending his wife to an early death."Oh my,I have totally forgotten about it,may her soul rest in peace."The two women observed a minute silence before continuing their conversation.
"When last did you see her son?" Ajoke asked.
Jane sighed,"Its been over eighteen months now.I still can't believe Lucy suffered so much and died for love,I wish she had let her family deal with that thing she called husband or rather baby papa."
"Just let it go jare,oya gist me about Cynthia's party."
"I wish you were there my dear ,it was such a beautiful celebration.It was in the papers too,Her parents still looked like teenagers in love,what they share must be cordial and heavenly,my husband and the kids were there too." She explained with excitement in her voice.
"You know I'm heavy already,just 6weeks to go,and I'm free again o,I just want this baby before christmas,no carryover abeg." She laughed heartily over the phone."I don't want to go through christmas bruhaha with a portruding tommy." She chuckled.
"I can't wait o,but you know I envy you sha,my husband doesn't want another baby and I don't want trouble again." She lamented,it was obvious,she loved and wanted more children."So how is your husband doing?"
"He's fine o,he even asked of you while going through some of my old pictures last weekend."
"My regards to him.and thank him for taking care of you for us o." Jane laughed.
"He should thank me instead,I cook,clean and take care of him and the children.You know something,I love my husband,he is just the perfect man for me,this man spoils me to pieces.oh he is the next best thing since chicken pizza.His mother is my only problem for now,did I tell you she now has her own temprary kitchen?That's where she cooks her meal each time she comes visiting. That woman! If not for my husband I would have beaten the hell out of her the day she poured a satchet of salt in my freshly made soup."
"Really? Your mother-in-law is something else.Oh I feel lucky to have Funmi o." Janet smiled to herself.
The door flung open and her children ran in jumping all over her.Her eye travelled to the wall clock,it was some minutes past three in the afternoon.She rounded up her converstion with Ajoke but not without the children saying "hi" to her. Eeeh! How time flies,she had decided to rest at home because of the weekend stress at the store and sales were not usually bright on Mondays,she had been on the phone since midday,almost three hours chatting with Ajoke.
They discussed virtually everything under the sun,from Hannah's forthcoming wedding,to wedding cakes,parties,children and undies.
"Mummy I am hungry." Adam sang in her ears,while removing his shoe and socks.
"That'll be after you finish,your take home work from school." Jane said,helping him with his jacket and shirt.She knew once she fed him now,he wouldn't do his work again.
"No ooo....um...um...I want to eat now."He insisted.
Aishat helped Eve UnCloth and assisted with her home work,while Adam refused to do his work.
Jane wondered where the boy got his stubborness from,she asked him nicely to do his work,but he refused,she enticed him with ice cream,and he declined.
Eve had a shower and changed into house wears as she jumped on her favorite chair.Aishat served her boiled yam with fried egg.she was about to say her prayers when water splashed all over her,she opened her eyes and screamed thereby alerting her mother,Nnamdi and Aishat.
Eve began to cry,standing mischieviously by the table was Adam with a empty bowl in his hands,after emptying water into her sister's meal.

"Eve what did you do before your brother poured water in your meal." Janet asked surprised at her son's attitude.
"Nothing" she cried.
"Okay,Adam what did your sister do to you?"
"Nothing." He answered quietly.
"So why did you pour water in her meal?"
"I am hungry too,and she." He pointed at Aishat."She didn't give me food."
"That was bad of you,I told you to finish your home work but you refused,and until you do what I asked of you,there's no food for you.Now tell your sister sorry." Jane said.
"No mum." He quickly folded his hands across his chest.
"Adam be a good boy for mummy,and tell Eve that you're sorry."
"Hmmm hmmmm." He insisted,walking away to his room.
"Nnamdi,go and bring him to me." Jane was angry.
Nnamdi put him down,"Now get me the cane." He returned with a local cane popularly called 'Pankere'. "I'll give you one last chance to apologise to your sister before I beat you."
The boy was adamant,Jane raised the cane to wipe his buttocks,"Please mummy,don't flog him.he's going to cry,look mummy I am not angry,please mummy."Eve pleaded close to tears.
"Its okay dear,I will beat him for three reasons,for refusing to do his work,for pouring water and for refusing to apologise,those are bad habits that shouldn't be encouraged." Jane explained.She flogged him five light strokes of the cane on his buttocks and the boy cried,held his buttocks and ran to his room.
Aishat cleaned up the table that was messed up,while Nnamdi served Eve another plate of food.
Jacob arrived about three hours later,he looked stressed up and tired."Welcome home dear" Jane greeted him taking his brief case as they climbed up the stairs.
"Bad day?" She asked when they got into the room. "Yes." He sighed,he let her help with the tie,his shirt,shoes and belt.He was indeed stressed out.
"Want to talk about it?" She asked carefully.
"After I shower."
Jane waited for him to come out,he had a white towel around his lean waist downwards,he smelled fresh and his look had improved a bit.he fell on the bed.
"What do you want for dinner,there's boiled yam and egg,boiled rice,we have fish and chicken stew and there's still some of those fresh snails too." Jane listed out.
"I'll have boiled rice with fish stew and snails too." He smiled for the first time since he came home.
Jane instructed Aishat to set the table,"So what's gotten you all shook like this.?"
"We lost a fine contract."
"Sorry about that."
"It was Jaiye."
Jane flinched and sat up,"what about him?"
"I have always told him,his penis would get us in trouble someday." He sighed,he rubbed his stomach as he spoke."The man who was to award the contract told us we deserved the contract but his daughter who was the head of A&R stalled it saying she had unfinished business with Jaiye.You can imagine,something personal now disturbing business.One thing led to another and before you know it,I was walking out empty handed.I left him there to clean up his mess." Jacob sighed heavily.
"I'm so sorry about that." Jane held his hand and spoke softly."How much was it?"
"$2m"
"That's some money!" She exclaimed.
"Yeah....look I'm famished." Jacob changed into shorts and polo before going down to eat.Jane sat with him and chatted with him gisting him about her day.
"Where are the kids?"
"In their room."
"Oh I forgot,Jackie dropped by my office and brought some stuff for them,ask Aishat to bring them to see it." Jacob said between mouthfuls.
"Nnamdi" Jacob called.
"Sir"
"Check the booth of my car and bring the basket there." Nnamdi picked the car key and left.
"I'll remember to give her a call tomorrow,that's so thoughtful of her." Jane smiled as she went through the contents.
Aishat came in with Eve,"Where's Adam?" Jacob asked. As Eve climbed on his laps and embraced him,he kissed her cheeks and her forehead.
"He says he is not coming." Aishat answered.
"Oh Eve,look at the nice things your big aunt got for you." Jane said as Eve's eyes popped,she picked a brightly coloured doll and a pack of chocolates.
"What is wrong with your son,please go and check him,he might be running temperature." Jacob said drinking some water.
"Hmmm Doctor Jacob Smith." She laughed,and then explained all that happened to him.
"Did you flog him?" He asked upset.
"Yes I did,he's beginning to grow stubborn you know,just like his father." She joked.
"Look children shouldn't be flogged and especially not mine." He continued.
Jane was perplexed."Didn't you hear all that I said,he refused to do his homework,and then poured water in his sister's food,he also refused to apologise to Eve,that's bad."
"I don't support his behaviour,but you shouldn't have used a cane on him." Jacob insisted.
"So how was I supposed to correct him?" She asked,her tone two pitch higher.
"I don't know." He said getting up from the table.
Jane saw Eve back to her room,and she picked two pack of chocolates and juice and asked Aishat to take one and give the other one to Nnamdi.and to also keep the baskets away,she'll go through it properly in the morning.
She asked Nnamdi to lock the doors and bade them goodnight.she had her bath and changed into her robe.
"Jacob I am sorry for speaking to you that way." She apologised.
"Everything I do is for you and the kids,please don't be offended,but I also want you to reason with me, don't forget when you spare the rod you spoil the child." She explained gently.
"You shouldn't have flogged him all the same,I insist."
"Fine,what should I have done?"
"I don't know."
"You should know dear."
"I don't."
"Maybe you shouldn't question the way I handle them then."
"I will not have you beating either of them I repeat."
"Good,then get me a manual on how to treat them." Jane said,putting off the bedside lamp,she tucked herself in.It was a good night.
She was just getting her sleep when her husband's phone began to ring.

Ade replayed his conversation over the phone with his doctor in his head,he comtemplated calling Hannah to question her.Something was wrong somewhere.His doctor had informed him this afternoon that the lady he sent over tested negative to the HIV screening test.And that was something he couldn't assimilate.
Who was lying? Hannah? Or the doctor.He was glad nonetheless that the doctor hadn't informed her yet.How was she going to take the news.Herbert had been his doctor since he got his license to operate five years ago,and he was damn brilliant and quite successful in his work.

There sure had to be a mix up somewhere,he picked his phone and dialled her number off hand,she picked on first ring,and asked her nicely to meet him at home in an hours time.

Hannah was very troubled within her,she hoped her issue was not yet complicated and to think that she stopped her meds 4weeks ago.she prayed quietly in the cab as she alighted in front of his house.she walked in and the gateman told her,his boss was waiting for her.
She knocked before opening the door,he answered the door,and ushered her in nicely.Well,she was surprised.he even offered her a glass of wine.They sat in the sitting room.
He asked her about her day,and how she was doing at work, "I know something is up,will you please tell me and stop beating around the bush." She asked boldy.
"Okay,what else did you lie to me about?"
"Excuse me,What do you mean? I am not a liar,it was just foolishness on my part to have withheld that part of my life from you,apart from dagger who made me a woman,I haven't been with another man.And don't even ask me to swear because I won't." She amazed herself at her bravado."I am an honest person."

Being a fair skinned lady,her cheeks flushed red,as she tried to think of what he was up to.

Ade smiled,"The doctor called me." He said slowly watching for her keen response.

She was quiet, "And?"

"He tested you for HIV and the result was negative."He sighed,watching her countenance change.

"What are you talking about?"

"You're negative,you don't have HIV."

It was Hannah's turn to laugh,it was high pitched and hysterical,"Is that part of your plan too?"

"Look,I'm serious,I was hoping you would be able to explain better."

"That's a lie." The laughter escaped from her lips before she could stop it."I am positive,I went for a confirmation test and I have the result with me at home."
"Can I see it please?"
"Its not here with me."She got up from her seat."If you're trying to ridicule me,you're doing a good job of it already.If you're no longer interested in this sham of a marriage,be man enough and tell me to my face.The world is not going to come to an end over us.And stop being childish.

"I am not going to deny the fact that I love you still,so please yourself."

She picked her glass of wine,finished her drink and spat it in his fcae before rushing out.
