But what I know is the example I gave above does not give a different result from christ based healings. It is all about setting up the right conditions. And they both give the same frequency of results. What would have made christ based healings real would be to have 10 verified blind men get healed at once, get amputees growing back limbs after prayers etc. There are no miracles in any church or anywhere that is really beyond ordinary.

I can agree with you that people belief play a part in getting healed sometimes . Even medically . But that's not bible miracle . Infirmity comes from several sources . Natural , medical , spiritual ,demonic etc. and there are several ways by which healing and miracles take place

You were so curious to know how the flame was glowing inside the globe, you wanted to hold it, i kept pulling you off, but you wont just stop going for it, suddenly your dad came back home and i needed to attend to him, you saw your chance and went for the lamp. @op a pastor told me during an heated argument dt i will encounter a divine visitation from God himself in my dreams within five days. All because i was against his beliefs o. To cut d story short,its almost two weeks and i have been sleeping very sound without dreams sef. Will call him tomoro cos he confidently gave me his number.

Hi OP...I have read your stories, I felt compelled to tell you mine and also pray for you....I'm at work, so I can't write much.

I was born into a very divided religious and polygamous home...my dad a Catholic..mom, a baptist and step moms who were traditionalist and all that made me confused. I jumped around a lot...from the Catholic church cos it was full of dogmas and I could deal with the Mary thing. The traditional worship...spent a great time there cos it was everywhere around me...left cos I realized I was missing something. The baptist church was OK...it did answer some of my questioned but still..not satisfied. I was introduced to Pentecostalism by my elder sister...I couldn't grasp what it was all about...so I pulled out.

I was introduced to atheism in high school and became one...I was for a long while but still within me, I knew there was more to life than meets the eye. I had lots of mails from all around the world...I did study like a mad boy. The post were weary of my daily collection of foreign mails...books and tapes...in the 80s. I read it all, esoteric... Christian Scientology.... Eastern religion and even cultic. I remember having too much and started using them, including bibles as toiletries.

I relocated to Lagos...began to hussle for my daily bread. On this very day coming from boundary market in a molue bus...I had an encounter. There was this man preaching...(I hate preachers by the way. My friends and I would go to the Pentecostal church in my home town and abuse them while I was an atheist. We would throw stones on their roof and scorn them at the door. I did argued and fought high school preachers...my friends from the schools science club regarded me as the king of atheist and Scientology.)...he did code mixed English and Yoruba(a language I didn't understand)... My blank mind opted to question him...but an overwhelming power I couldn't fanthom took over me. I didn't understand all he said but I knew...I was a sinner in need of Christ...I cried in that bus...it was like the biblical Saul experience... I can't share it all for time...but I knelt in that molue bus and cried out my heart to God...accepted Jesus into my heart...it's been almost 3 decades now. I have always been grateful for that day.

I went to higher institution...graduated, work for over a decade in Nigeria before relocating to the US. Started planting churches, running crusades, been to nations courtesy of professional career but used it all as an opportunity to reach out to people of all creed on the love of God... for 24years now...yet the best days are ahead of me in my work with God.

I got home from that experience in the molue bus not knowing what to do with myself...I couldn't talk to any Christian around me...they saw me as the devil. I remember this former Muslim lady who got converted and would minister to me...I dealt her wrong, but still loved coming to me...I got ready by 5pm the next and waited for her to walk pass my house on her way to church(she never failed). On sight of her, I followed her behind about two pole long. She went in this church like after 20 min of trekking... I got in too...it was full of bunch of young men and ladies worshiping with lifted hands...that started my journey.

I got baptized in the Holy Spirit after two week...awesome.

I did meet other atheist in higher institutions, at work and many more during my MBA days in Nigeria. A lot of them are born again now and even preaching...

OP...spiritual things are not ABC or mathematical permutations... When Jesus reveals himself to you, He becomes real to you.

I love you...I won't argue with you, cos no one finds Christ through argument. I believe you will rise beyond this level, find the love of God and do great exploit again...but remember this...you can be so busy doing the work of God and don't know the God of the work.

Healings can come miraculously thru several mean. You can use the name of anything. If today I claim that the water coming out from my tap is healing water and people believe in it. All I need is enough people to take the water and at the end call for testimonies. Be sure that you will hear lots of testimonies.
You just have to make your premise something people can believe in absolutely even if it is based a a big fat lie. It does not matter. Then have a wide spectrum of people put their faith in it.

If I have 1000 sick people. Have various degrees of infamity drink the fake healing water. I am sure we will get about the same number of testimonies as having 1000 people let pastor chris pray for them.

It still works for me.
I trick people close to me into getting healed. Could tell them to drink water and convince them it is no ordinary water. Or make vegetable concoction soup and claim it is medicinal and you see people getting back to their feet in no time. Depends on how convincing you are and how their body responds to the illness. It does not always work just the way prayer in jesus name does not always work. Success rate is about the same frequency.

Photos: Mysterious healing river appears in Enugu state
According to reports, a Fulani Herdsmen first spotted the river and ran to people in the community to alert them of the discovery. He told them that as he passed the area with his herd of cattle, he heard a strange noise, and when he turned back, he saw the river that wasn't there previously.

The community went to look for themselves and discovered that the water has healing powers. But the traditional ruler of Nachi community said something slightly different. He said the river appears every 20 to 30 years but dries up after a few weeks so it wasn't anything new.

Meanwhile, Okada people are already making money from this as they charge passengers between N500 to N1,000 to transport them from a junction to the Healing River as hundreds visit the place every day to get some of the water which quite a lot of people testify has healing powers.

But wait oo,can't u pass ur message across without putting up a fight or threatening him? Each time i engage in a discussion like this,i end up hearing stuffs like hell awaits u bla bla bla.

There was this girl I was chasing when I was younger. Ahh! memories.
Anyway, any time I smile at this girl, she go bone face. So I went to a juju man and the juju man did his thing, gave me a padlock, told me to walk up to the girl next time I see her, speak to her and as soon as she responds I should lock the padlock and at that moment the girl would be mine and I'll have total control over her until I unlock the padlock.

Well it happened and I was awed. One week after speaking with her, we were together in a hotel room.

Anyway, it turned out that I didn't really need any juju to get the girl in the first place. The reason the girl dey throway face to me was because she was very shy. She had been dying for me even before I noticed her. All I needed to do was pick up courage and speak to her.

So speaking with authority works. And works doubly with women.
