I have been married for more than 20 years to a man I thought I knew and trusted with my entire heart until the day I found out that he has been cheating on me for a decade. The affair with the other woman has even produced two children; a set of twins. To make matters worse, the woman in question turned out to be my best friend I shared everything with, including the challenges in my home.

As gullible as I have been, I was privy to her pregnancy and encouraged her in the relationship she said she was in. She told me he was married and that they didn’t plan for children in their relationship and that since she was getting old, she decided to get pregnant not withstanding his objections.

During the time she was pregnant with the twins; she would come to my house and sleep because it was a very trying period for her. I stood by her throughout and even agreed to her suggestions that the naming ceremony for the twins be done in our house to cover her shame as she put it. My husband it was that gave the children the names they answer to till date.

Looking back, I feel like the worst fool on earth. I also recall that my mother-in-law was very angry with me for allowing such an event in my home and practically ordered my friend out of the house a day after the ceremony, with a warning never.............

its okay, all pain comes n goes. pray for your family to stand united n strong through all dis. sit your husband down, b calm and dnt shout, and tell him how dis has hurt u, but make him understand that wen u said through thick and thin u meant it. please wit him to never do dis heartbreaking thing ever again, ask him wat is it dat he cant get from u, so dat u can work on it. encourage him to b there for the twins, and keep your home warm and together. those babies r yours also now, never be evil towards them. Let your friend know dat u r cutting the friendship in good terms, nt dat u r fighting her, but u feel dat it would be better if the friendship ended, but baby girl, b strong and of good courage. keep your home together. forgive him, and work on ways which can strengthen your marriage. it will take time, but one day, all dis pain will b gone

Your husband was doing a community service,don't harm yourself over the discovery, because you may even discover more,embrace yourself and keep cool...good luck
