It's a common saying that people value more the things they got in a not so easy way. Our society has instilled in us that women are an acquisition that when you get her easily or quickly, she's 'cheap' and if she gives you a tough time, she's chaste and much more valuable. With these stereotype beliefs in mind, virtually all ladies try to portray themselves as the chaste, hard to get commodity and even though she has the mutual feelings towards the guy, she hides them. This attitude does have its disadvantages tho, cos, by the time she decides to stop the charade of fronting, the guy might have lost interest completely. I am speaking from personal experience, two of my past relationships, one girl who actually loved me as I could sense wasted my time for about 5months by the time she became desperate for me, I was no longer interested, I tried my best to make the relationship work but I couldn't carve out 'love' from nowhere. We had to part ways which was actually very beneficial to me but she was heartbroken. My current bae on the other hand, didn't even stall me for 3 days and we're still as strong as ever since last year January and I very much respect her. So my question still remains, Why Front when you know you love someone who loves you too? 1 Like |

But most pretty and confident ladies I have come by don't give this much attitude you talk about. The not so pretty ones front the most. It probably is a sign of inferiority or something. |

I like a lady who knows what she wants. and when what she wants approaches her to ask for a relationship, she says yes with minimum fuss. that, to me, is impressive. why will I approach you if I think you are cheap in the first place anyway. unless you don't want me to ever take you serious, your yes should be yes and your no should be no. so when you tell me "no", I believe you and move on. no need to complicate an already complicated dating procedure. |
