First of all, let me say that I condemn any threat by Niger-Delta Avengers to bomb any cities in Nigeria. However the truth must be told as reported!

I strongly suspect Vanguard is working along with the perpetrators of "One Nigeria=oil theft" to ultimately blame SE for Niger-Delta Avengers bombings. The initial bomb threat issued by Niger-Delta Avengers yesterday, as we all read here on Nairaland and other sources was to bomb Abuja and Lagos only. However, Vanguard report has included Calabar and Port Harcourt cleverly if you read below...hmmm? This is pure psychology and mind control at work; those of us who possess critical thinking skills already know what the twist implicitly is going. I'll explain! What they are trying to do now is to make it seem like Niger-Delta Avengers is against North, SW and SS but not against SE? Otherwise Enugu would have been included to balance out the threat to all major zones! Isn't it?

The ultimate goal is to psychologically turn SS against SE, where SS will be wondering why is Niger-Delta Avengers not threatening to bomb or bombing SE or Enugu. The end game is to turn SS against SE. There is a well engineered plan by the perpertrators of ONE NIGERIA to put SS against SE...to continue the One Nigeria enterprise! One Nigeria is only possible if SS and SE are not united. If they are united, One Nigeria is over! Pls watch out for this!

The military men, who came at about 12.30 am while the people were asleep laid siege at the community until about 5.00 am when they departed. A source said the army reportedly acted on intelligence information that the militants had secretly converged on the community. However, the Pere (traditional ruler) of Gbaramatu Kingdom, HRM Oboro-Gbaraun II, Aketekpe, Agadaba, who was scared stiff with his subjects during the invasion, offered, Monday, to mediate in the face-off between the Federal Government and Tompolo despite his dissatisfaction with the neglect of the kingdom by government. But the rampaging Niger-Delta Avengers, which earlier claimed that it had no link with Tompolo and in fact, issued him a three-day ultimatum for denouncing the group, remained unperturbed, as Vanguard gathered that it had concluded plans to extend its attacks to Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Calabar. The owner of vanguard is from South South. He is Mr. Sam Amuka from Itsekiri, Delta State. And he is aware Biafra and One Nigeria struggle is an economic battle over South South oil and nothing else. Biafra without south south oil is not economically viable, and north without south south oil will result to extreme poverty in the north atleast in the medium term.

That is why we the true sons of South South clamour more for Resource Control rather than succession (even though we prefer succession). But as smart and wise realist the we are, we know that succession cannot come peacefully knowing how important we are economical today . Neither the North nor South East will allow Niger Delta Republic of South South alone. We are just the pun in the chess game of supremacy between south east, south west and the North.

The owner of vanguard being a bonafide south south indigene knows very well the south east want to use south south militant as proxy for their war with North. Thus the reason for vanguard position.

We have asked for succession before under Isaac Adoko Boro. But south east man Agunyi ironsi was the head of state then. He crushed us completely. Any other head of state from the North or South West would have done exactly the same. Only foolish and uninformed south south son will side any of these major three tribe in their battle.

Nobody outside south east will belive that!!! Even the rich and powerful America go to war because of oil!! let alone ordinary you!!!

I think that you might be reading too much into this. They probably didn't mention any part of the South-East because there isn't a place in the South-East that has benefitted from the oil money to the extent of the aforementioned regions. They said Lagos, not Oyo state, and Abuja, not Zamfara state, for example.

There's still many countries in the world who succeed without oil money. Look at how rich Africa is in resources, however, how many African countries are there that are doing better than Finland or Japan and both are countries that have very few natural resources.
